  according to info from ramaswamy gireesan's
  site.he also has the audio clip of the song.also

  Ravi: Thanks for the correction (from Chinna Thampi to Chinna Thaayi). When I started my music collection, I did not include the names of movies or music directors. In recent times, I have been trying my best to get this information. I have around 400 Tamil movie songs sung by K.J.Yesudas, but a large number of them are not identified by movie or m.d. The graama flavour of Naan Erikkarai Melirunnu made it one of my real favourites, but the movie was listed as Chinna Thampi. Thanks once again for the correction.

  Deepa, Gokul, Viswa - an interesting tidbit on the song, Ninaivaalei silai seithu unakkaagavey vaithein, thiru koaviley oadivaa.
  
  Song was written by Kannadhasan and sung by KJJ. After the recording, Kannadhasan was irritated by KJJ's pronunciation of thiru koayiley as theru koayiley!
  Of course, KJJ retaliated by saying that Kannadhasan should have mentioned it while recording, which he didn't.
  So, inthe mispronunciation problem has been around for a long time. :-))
  BTW, the movie has another excellent number by KJJ & VJ - Andha maanei paarungal azhagu.

  Talking about mispronunciation, a friend of mine
  mentioned that in "kalyana maalai kondadum
  pennae.." (pudhu pudhu arthangal) SPB pronounces
  nenjam as senjam in the line "nenjamenum veenai
  paadume thodi", so in the song it actually
  is "senjamennum veenai paadume thodi..". I
  listened to the song and it sounds like that to me
  also, but I have a hard time believing SPB doing
  that. Are there other songs like this? (I am
  posting this here for lack of a better thread).

  There are a couple of songs that are childhood memories. I remember the tunes and the lyrics in part. Can anyone let me know what movies they are from?
  
  The first one is "Anbe Amudha anbe".
  The second one has the first line ending in "Rama Rama" (female voice) and the second line ends in "Sita Sita" (male voice). Both were popular on radio in the early seventies when I was in second grade.
