who is the best actor-kamal or rajini

obviously kamalhasan is the best.there is no arguement necessary for this.rajini may have jhinjack styles but he can never be compared to an actor like kamalhasan.

  Hey wait a minute...do you know that Rajnikanth has one of the most original style of acting ever...his dialogue deliveries is what impressed K. Balachander and he immediately enrolled him and today whatever you may say, Rajni has gone beyond actiing...he lives a role that has been given to him by the people...he doesn't have to prove himself by acting in different roles...so there is no use in categorizing Rajni and Kamal together...both of them have made their mark in different ways !

  In the conventional sense, Kamal is near-perfect of the complete actor - singing, dancing, emoting, writing, directing..he has proved it all...and will be a Legend...Rajnikanth is from the non-conventional area of Personality based...his on-screen persona supported by his real-life character also has turned him into a legend...he may not have had the opportunites or the background that Kamal had..but he has made his mark in his own way.

  there has always been 2 kinds of cine heros in tamil film industry.
  1. Charisma hero and 2. Acting (gunachitra) hero.
  
  MKT vs P.U.Chinnappa,
  PUC as a good very character actor, while MKT was a glamorous star with charisma.
  (My grandfather used be a PUC fan while his brother was MKT fan, I still remember they were arguing on this :)
  
  then followed by the famous.
  MGR vs Sivaji,
  Kamal vs Rajini

  Kamal lives in the screen as the character.
  Rajini enacts the style of the character with his own style!

  the point is 100 years from now will rajini movies be remembered... MGR is remember bcoz he was a CM later... thats why his movies r remembered...
  
  none of MGR's movies r remembered for any cinematic reason... the way sivaji movies r remembered.
  
  100 years from now when all politics r forgotten.. and people just see the movie for cinematic quality content... then unfortunately it will be kamal and sivaji who will stand out
  
  MGR will be in the history books then... where will rajini be..????
  
  it may be difficult to imagine rajini being forgotten but since he hasnt done extrodinary movies to make a mark in the cine calender.... and i dont see his career culminating as a CM...
  
  i guess rajini will be remembered only as a person and not as a quality actor... bcoz thats the way he has chosen his movies.. strong masala content and genreal entertaintment...

  how do you determine if someone's a better actor? based on the justice they have done to the character they have portrayed, right ? Can Kamal do the same amount of justice that Rajni does to his characters ? Same is true with the reverse. Now, if you ask who has accepted a greater variety, then Kamal is the answer. But that not necessarily make him a better actor 'than' Rajni. Only makes him a more adventurous one.

  Rajni can act as villan, but kamal can not do that;
  
  in my view Rajni's style is the best in India not Amitab bachen, in terms of acting I think Raguvaran is the best actor

  He is reliable actor from 1973 to till date...
  See the movies like Sri ragavendra, Moonru Mugam, 6-il irundu 60 varai, DharmaYuddam,Baasha, Padayappa.... And then decide who is best actor....

  Super start Attracts Different age group..
  1-15--child hood;
  15-27---school and College going Girls and boys..
  28-55---Working men and women...
  57 and above men and women..
  In any house, mother gave food to child only by showing the great great superstar...Then only, the child takes food regularly..

  I ENJOYED M.G.R. MOVIES AND NOW IT IS MY OPINION THAT RAJNI KANTH HAS SHOWN SIMILAR QUALITIES AS M.G.R. IN HIS MOVIES.

  Sivaji is the greates actor. Filsm like PasaMalar, Panthapasam, and many more. MGR is a legend. I have met both the actors and chatted with them. MGR is Makal Thilagam and Sivaji is Nadigar Thilagam. At any time, any place MGR always and never fail to show his love towards the people. Still remember at Singapore National Theatre where thousands thronged just to get a glimpse of MGR and were unable to get tickets for theshow. There were other actors like Sashi Kapoor, Muthuraman, Letchmi etc who came with him. I told MGR that the people are just waiting to get a chance to see him. Immediately he proceeded and through the grille gate he spent about an hour, just shaking their hands and some managed to touch him. The crowd went berserk seeing MGR. Definitely the crwod who came as far as from Johore, Malacca and even from Kuala Lumpur went home satisfied getting a glimpse of Makal Thilagam. I heard some saying, " I touched MGR, i shook hands with MGR etc"He has personal touch for the people. Anyone who calls out for MGR,he stops and talk to them. I am yet to see an actor similar to MGR who shows love to the people. Kamal is like Sivaji. Rajni has his own style. All have their own style of acting. Today when i sit and think back, i have adopted MGR's way of showing love to the poor, old folds etc. Always looking out to help people but not the arrogant ones.

  STUPID! STUPID!STUPID! BOTH ALSO STUPID ACTORS. THE BEST ACTOR OF ALL TIME IN INDIA PARTICULARLY IN TAMIL NADU NONE OTHER THAN CLINT EASTWOOD. HE IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. RAJNI AND KAMAL CANNOT BEAT HIM. CLINT EASTWOOD IS A LEGEND IN TAMIL CINEMA. NOBODY CAN CHALLENGE HIM. EVEN VIVEK ,SENTHIL,GAUNDAMANI,VIJAY,RAHIKA,SNEHA AND JOYTHIKA MUKA KATAK CANNOT BEAT HIM
