  Chittukuruvi has been added in raaga.com - and there is a great song "Ponnula Ponnula" in that movie - typical 80s style Raaja's music - Listen and enjoy !!!

  if raja decides that he wants to give a hit none can stop,
  another genius touch in 'azhaghi' and 'kaasi'
  while 'kaasi' was simple melodies without latest intruments and
  techno-touch, 'azhaghi' was a high standard melody after 'kadhaluku
  mariyadhai'.
  atleast now some stupid criticisers arguing that he has lost touch
  must stop touching his keyboard to voice baseless arguments.
  
  both 'azhaghi' and 'kaasi' is very popular amongst listeners today.

Parhtheban's next movie is about a carnatic singer (Soundarya is playing the role), Subbudu is acting as 'vimarsagar subbudu' in the movie, Looks like he heard the sudha ragunathan song and said, 'Cinema-la paadaatha Sudha Ragunathan-aip paada vechchirukkeenga, Very good, Music Ilayarajathaanee, Avaraith thavira veRa yaar carnatic music ippadi compose paNNa mudiyum, he is a genius'

  Hi,
  I saw the film 'kutti' yesterday.
  I don't have words to describe my feelings after completing this movie.
  My wife, before watching this movie, said,'i can never watch an emotional movie'. but after watching, she said,'i can't sleep now. it's so heavy.'
  A big 'kudos' for the entire team for such a wonderful movie.
  the dir. has done an excellent job having a very neat screenplay and all the actors have performed amazingly.
  Guys, whoever haven't watched this, a must see film.
  Although i tried to console myself saying,'this is a film.so, might not be true', i'm sure that things happen that way and the movie makes us think for the society.
  and finally, the music..
  it's fantastic. so soft, so melodious and still it touches your heart.
  not only the bgm,songs..but also, with the 'Thangachi Thangachi' song(the last one), IR undersocres his lyrical ability. the lyrics explains it all...

  does anybody have any news/updates about the bengali movie that IR composed music for? Does it figure in RAAJANGAHM's movie list?
  
  Also, I remember that IR had composed music for a TV serial called 'Bible' (i think it was produced/directed by some Malayali director). It used to be telecast every Sunday. This was very long back. I am not sure if he composed only title track or entire BGM.

  did u hear Sri gananaatha from Kaatrukeenna velli..., This is a carnatic geetham(?), but inbetween some other tamil poem comes(goes like varana muga....)...does anyone know who wrote this tamil poem...is this tamil poem composed in different tune in the same raaga as sri Gananaatha?

  “Shri GaNanatha” is a PurandharadhAsa Geetham in Malahari raagam, Roopaka thaalam. “Vaarana Muga” is in Hamsadhwani raagam, Roopaka thaalam. It is probably by Koteeswara Iyer but I am not sure, as there seems to be a “Vaarana Mukha”.

  :))...ok. here ism y next Question. How is it possible to shift from Malahari raagam to Hamsadhwani raagam. I saw that the talam was maintained...First of all I was not able to find any difference in Raagams :))
