I can't believe what I see in those survey postings. Kaadal Kavidhai is the best album! It doesn't even come near even one song from the other movies in there that don't have any vote as yet! What the heck is going on here people. Best albums should have at least half of its scores great. None of IR's scores came to that standard this year. What's up?

It's not the fact that KK is getting all the votes that bugs me. That doesn't matter. But after this, I can't help wondering if people are just voting for preferance or to those that need actual credit for their work. If people can't give credit to where it is do, then is it not like insulting the hard work of those that deserve the actual credit?

BTW, Rajaram, when are the results going to be posted?

I didnt intend my message to flame you.

I share your opinion that due credit is not going where it should go to. Examples are recent reviews in Magazines about IR's music. Also, In surveys like this people vote only based on their preferences. Now, Preferences stem out of individual likings. Dont they? Thanks for bringing out an interesting dimension.

After seeing the survey results, I went ahead and purchased the KK album. I would not say I'm disappointed but definitely it's not upto Raja's standards of yesteryears. (I got a CD by inreco complany recently, featuring the 79-80's songs like Ninaivo oru, Azhagiya Kanne, Germaniyin etc. Well, those were the days of innovation by Raja). KK does not add any stone to Raja's magudam. I even worry whether he has started to follow the trend of this rubbish crop of TFM spoliers - like V channel, ARR, Deva et al.

Notwithstanding my comments above, I loved the song `Alai meedhu' for the excellent violin accompaniment and masterful percussion. A different singer (SJ or Chitra) would have lifted the song to greater heights.

My another worry: Raja sir, where are the lovely, melodius beats of your Tabala? Take the case of KM; every one of my family (as well as my malayali neighbors) love the small piece by Chitra `Anantha kuyilin pattu' (pathos version) more than the drummed up version. Raja sir, more tabala numbers please!

this is the trouble.
people start working for such statements
made by some cheap magazines...

if they behave their original, with whatever style they do, they definately do a better job.

look at ARR, he does not change his style and performs solely on his method..
not getting involved in any sort of critism..
prooving success!!!

i will never forget Subbudu's critisism of ARR compared with IR and finally he bit the dust!!!
