Everytime when there is a new soundtrack released, we comment on the music, the singers, the rhythm, beat and etc..
But what actually are we looking for?..
moderniziation?....preservation of classic?..
or something else?
all the while we have been commenting...for this once...let us help all those MD's out there..to actually see what we want....

all u can expect is good music...wheather its modern or classical or experiments or whatever... the end product should be a treat to our ears.
but to be frank, i'm satisfied with the present 'sound' of TFM... and of course i'm open to any kind of new experimentions...

but unfortunately there a lot of people who are not very open to new things, who stick to the old, because they liked it so much. their expectations are rather restraint...there are some who won't hear the music because for example SPB didn't sing any songs in it. others expect 'something like' the last best album of the md (so many people expected PP to be 'something like' duet! what nonsence), others don't like experiments, cause that would mean they have to try to understand that music, and that's kind of hard work for them, they would appreciate simple music. and so on.

i don't think that mds do market research...musicians work on the basis of their creativity...of course they get some basic things from the director, which kind of music is required and so on, but still, the md alone decides what he does... (or at least it should be so)

We expect a reasonable, sensible and rationale thinking from the tfm people.
They should have a mind on the public and the listeners who are going to listen this song. It is for them to turn them into music loving geniuses or mad crowd.
A social responsibility lies on the tfm people. They should realise this and give songs reasonably good with lyrical, good musical content, modernisation with ethics intact, usage of a variety of "good" voices and consider musical services as dedication rather than business.
Money, caste or creed should not hamper the music service. tfm has a lot of telugu, kannada and malayalee musicians. Bur their domination should not make the local tamil musicians take up different professions.
