DO WE REALLY NEED DEVA'S PICTURE ON TFM PAGE'S OPENING PAGE?

Dear Friends (The true music lovers) , All TFM administrators,
First of all I request the administrators "Please do not remove this thread" , if you decide you could modify the words,
now coming to topic, it is nothing against Deva personally, but TFM as we all know has really achieved lot of popularity right now, but one sad thing is that the opening page is devoid of few more popular and great technicians who contributed to TFM and has picture of this kind of technician (DEVA) who also has contributed to TFM but in different ways(almost degrading the TFM to the core) with gana songs, hard core shameless pliagarism of many tunes and cheating the true music lovers.

  Technically speaking, if Deva's picture has to be removed, then everybody else from Rod Stewart to Eric Clapton will have to be added. I think that's why the TFM Admin, in its infinite wisdom, has chosen to acknowledge the contribution of all these western artistes in the form of Deva !

  The is a stupid question. Deva gave too many good
  numbers though he might have copied few. Unlike others he accepted that too. I recommend who ever put this topic, may remove that at once. It amounts to insulting a fair person. Try to see the positive aspect in life. It all depends. A good person see ones goodness....

  I admit that Devaji has copied many songs from other languages, but its only because of him that we can sing those songs easily in Tamil, like Dilbar from Caravan (Nee nadanthaal - Badshah) and En Anbe (Sayyoni - Junoon, a Pakistani group).He too in his own way has contributed Tamil cinema, making the music more common for the layman.

  If you Tame Deva as *only* copier then you don't what a music Industry is. It is very difficult to give a *popular* music.
  
  Hiding the source is Genius. So Deva is not a genius. Nothing wrong in doing what you know... He knows his limitation and works the best. I don't see anything wrong with that. We have to re-visit what is quality?. I am sure Deva is giving *quality* songs.
  
  And I am sure he is giving more than what the *dump* producer/director's want.

  giving good enjoyable numbers.
  
  Few people having access to internet and commenting

  In my opinion, I feel someone like P.Suseela or S.Janaki is really more suited than Deva. He has a handful of good albums, but, to be in the hall of fame, sorry, he has to be more original.

  well that is ur openion, and for your kind information we are in the discussion forum, meaning interchanging different openions/views/comments with out hurting any individual person's feeling. You do not have to show any anger or express your hard feelings about the standard of TFM Discussion forum or indirectly attack these higly enthusiastic, motivated, talented music lovers (TFM administraters)

This is like saying few people do not represent the whole mass of Tamilnadu who worship(ped) Amma Jayalalitha as the Godess, and probably would continue electing/supporting such selfish ,spineless people.
  We are in a discussion forum to appreciate, criticize people associated with tfm , SINCE WE PAY THEM, nOT JUST few hundred Rs by the so called few peoples but in Lakhs and perhaps in crores by the so called Mass of Tamilnadu.
  The whole intention of this thread was to gather openions about unwanted recognition to some mediocre or even worse the not so talented Copy Cats, (as we pay these people not to cheat with copied songs but to give some enjoyment/PEACE/melody/and evoke emotions, diffuse our feelings while listening to their music= well this applies to people who really love music, and just for those who really enjoy "kothal savadi lady " kind of CRAPS.
  Again this thread is not just targetted to attack DEva but to any such not really talented below average MD's , for you it looks like that ,but fortunately or unfortunately TFM opening page doesn'y have any other pictures of equally rated or the so called very good MD's.
  Idule vera "Thenisai Thenral" nnu vera pattam < I hope this atleast is not from the so called Mass of Tamilnadu.
  If you ask those so called Few people (in actuality any sensible music fan) Deva is no better than or may be less than many other new MD's,(having most no. of movies doesn't mean he/she is the best, also as quote in Kumudham giving consistently ???? good songs (kai koosudhu good song enum word type adikkum podhu) only reflects consistently the so called Mass people's taste and appreciation is deteriorating)
  I mean TFM need not have to fill all other equally rated MD's pictures like VS, SAR, Bharadwaj,Sirpi,MM (mr.creams), and so many other lottu losusuks including our intermittent run of the mill Music Director turned directors like Bagyaraj... god knows who else, I feel some of the great musicians who significantly contributed to TFM are left out for ex:The great singer Jesudas, i really feel sorry, but you see if you go to the bottom of the opening page of tfm page it says "more than 1 million hits every month, more than 1000 new participants every day....Want to advertise kind of message; with this kind of amazing statistics are'nt we passing a wrong message about honouring some people who are not worth it or shouldn't we be spreading the message highlighting the talents of lots and lots of other ignored yet very talented people.
  
  Guys when you enter a DF you should enter thinking we can learn lot of new things and give lot of information to others and this is the place we can voice our openions /judge our technicians associated with TFM and not judge the master technicians of TFM page server administration.
