  On a quick first hearing of vedham "oru maalai kaatru" and "mudhal poo" seem to be the picks..the former is just a remake of a malayalam song "oru raathri koodi" though (music was by VS)
  
  Its sad that no one is using Swarnalatha effectively these days :-((
  
  On the whole VS doesnt have the freshness in tunes he did in some of his earlier albums like Arasiyal, Pudhayal, Delhi Durbaar etc..

  Hope vidyasagar makes it big with these two albums. He had good hits in tamil (karna,jai hind,pasumponnu) but was not able to make it in big league like maestro Ilaiyaraja, ARR.
  
  For those who do not know, Vidyasagar is no:1 music director in kerala for malayalam movies and is doing great job there.Kerala vai porutha varaikkum, Vidyasagr thaan avargalakku local ARR.
