  Hi,
  For people who start comparing P. Suseela with S Janaki, (just because of Singara velane Deva) and Illayaraja,
  We admire the songs of S. Janaki or other singers(say chitra) only because of the beats and music of Illayaraja(the credit should go to him or any other music director rather than the singers) but give PS a song which doesnt even is worth , but see the difference , it is the voice which is dominating.
  I was so crazy that I would watch a movie if only P suseela sang ( in Telugu), not the hero or heroine
  I wish she starts singing again.
  My wish is to get a autograph from her.
  One comparison "Raasave una kaandha nenjil " in Tamil the same was rendered by Janaki in Telugu See the difference!!!
  Similarly in Chinna goundar Muthu mani malai was sung by Ps and was sung by chitra in Telugu See the difference!!
  We should be proud of this legendary and great singer.

  " neela vanna kannane" is a marvari type of song which from the film "malliga" . film released in 1958. One more beautiful song by A.M.raja & Ps in that film is "varuven naan unathu maaligain vaasalukke" (pathos).

  In www.tfmpage/forum there is a page "P.susheela /Ilayaraja combination " . In Ilayaraja's homepage they have metioned only 149 songs. But,I could collect around 190 songs. why cant tou add few more telugu colletion? As you are in hyderabad it may be possible for you.

  I have PS's contact number. I talked to her twice over phone. She is such a nice lady and talked to me so nicely. She is down to earth. Very nice unforgettable moment for me.

  Lata Mangeshkar : She appreciates PS voice in so many occations. In TFM PS thread see "cinema Express" thread. When PS got the National award ( 1st award for female singers was given to PS) , AVM felicitated her and that occasions Lata came from Bombay and praised her fro her voice.

  " Ennai eduthu Thannai koduthu ponavan ponandi " from padagoti is one her best pathos.
  " velli nila vaanathile vanthu poguthada" - ( I dont know the movie) is also a good pathos.
  " kAna vantha kAtchi Enna" from BhagyaLakshmi is also a good pathos.
  These four songs " ettadukku " " enni eduthu" " velli nila" and "kAna vantha " gives the same effect .ie.,
  In "ennai eduthu" song " intha vayasukku ekkathai vaithu ponavan pOnAndi" - a nice hunmming along with words and it brought a painful feeling.
  In " ettadukku" song,after " kaalangal ulla varai kanniyargal yArkum intha kAthal vara vendamadi" line, there is a humming with pain.
  In " velli nila" song " ullathilum kAthal nila vanthu nintathada" -vai thodarnthu oru humming .
  In "kaana vantha kAtchi" - ninaithu ninaithu solla vantha sethigal enna, un nilamai mari nintu vitta vethanai enna" -vai thodarnthu oru painful humming.

  Without hearing PS songs properly, people started comparing her with others. Her acheivements in TFM is very high, and so far I havent find a singer nearer to her. I feel that we are insulting her just by comparing her with others. ( correct me if I am wrong).
  “En vAzhvil puthu paathai kanden , Ethum thonAmal thadumAruginten – (Any one remembers the movie? ) “ - along with the lyrics she continues the humming . “ ithu kanavo, anti nanavo enathanbe nee sollayo..O…O…” ( A beautiful and powerful rendition by PS )
  
  In palum pazhamum another song “ Intha naadagam antha medayil ethanai naal amma”, a situation song and powerfully rendered by PS. “ vaanum nilavum pirinthe iruppathu ethanai naal amma , ammamma …aa….amma..aa……). Varigalordu sernthu avar kuralum valiyodu oorvalam poi varum.
  
  “Nilayaga en nenjil oli veesum deepam, neeya en nAlum en kAthal deepam “ from ( kalaikoil ( meenda sorgam!?) is another pathos , I don’t think anyone else can sing this song. In the second stanza “ thee intha uyir kootai erithAlum- athu nee irukkum en nenjai nerungAthu, Nee entrum vAzha vendume, antha ennam ontru pothume, athu than inbame..inbame…en inbame “ entu adi vayitilirunthu kuralezhuppi paaduvar paarungal . superb!!.
  Intha maathiri ithu varai veru entha paadagigalum paadi kettathillai naan.

  " Ithaya veenai thoongum pothu paada mudiyuma " is a wonderful song. At the end " urugi vitta mezhuginile oliyethu, udainthu vitta silayinile azhagethu, pazhthu patta koyilile theivamathu , pazhthu patta paathayile payanam ethu" entu koil mani pol thelivaaga olippar pArungal. Romba rasithu ketka vendia paadal.
  Athai pol "chithi" (?!) film-ilum "illaram onte nallaram entivar vAzhavum vida mAttar" enta paadalil , " maanam enbathu penkalukkental, penkalukken illai ?, oru varrathayinale …. Mathargal padum thollai, intha naatilum neethi illai, thamizh ettilum neethi illai " entu Ongaramai paadi vittu , kuralai appadiye thazhaithu, methuvaga mudippar parungal.. oru kai therntha nadigayai oavr kuralil kaanalam.
