  We still have all of 2000 to get to the end of the 20th century. Why don't we wait until December 2000 to determine the song of the century. Maybe thiruttu thEnisai thendral Deva might copy some 'hit' western song and give us a 'song for the century/millinneum':-)

  - Naina Bole Naina - Movie Aur Ek Prem Kahani - IR
  Listen to the Orchestration of this song. The tamil version of this song is in Johnny. However there's really something very very special about the improvisation done to the hindi version of the song. I already gave 10/10 for this song to become SOng of the century. The following are also my choices...
  - Varaga Nadikarai Oram - Sangamam - ARR
  Excellent work from ARR. Listen to this song...and stop it...listen to any other song later...but still this will be your song of the day to hum...reverberates and persist in your ears for the whole day and ofcourse more than that.
  - Malare - Karna - Vidyasaagar
  Melody is the driving factor in this song...this also reverberates...and be the song of the day.

  Have you ever wondered why Mona Lisa is the most famous paintings of all times? It is because the enigma associated with the face of Mona Lisa. We couldnt find out what is the emotion that Leonardo had in mind while painting that picture.
  In my opinion the best Tamil song of all times is undoubtedly "En iniya pon Nilaave" from the movie Moodupani. Can anyone tell what is the mood associated with this song. Is it happiness or is it sorrow. It is a sad feeling which you will get extremely happy. Only a genius could have composed tune for that song. For this reason and for the excellent rendition by KJY and beautiful picturisation by Balu Mahendra , it is undoubtedly the song of the millenium.

  I think the most touching duet, well-picturised one:
  Vennilavae.. vennilavae.. vinnai thaandi varuvaaya...
  which eventually fetched ARR his second national award.. what a song.. Vairamuthu, Hariharan and Sadhna Sargham, alongwith ARR have made it the best song of this century..
