Rajaraman i liked the song 'aakashavanil neeye en rani'.Im not sure whether its a copy or not but the song is very pleasant and the music interlude is very good.

by raja's standards dharma is a mediocre album.
this is the opinion of myself a HCIRF.
if albums of IR from all other languages are also put together from the last one year, my ratings are:
1. guru
2. yaathramozhi
3. pooncholai
4. poonthottam
5. kadhalukku mariyathai
from film no. 3 'un perai ketaale' is a classic song reminding me of 'kadhal oviyam' by IR.

buddy,
don't worry. deva is like a 'curse' for TFM or better 'dhrishti'. its effect will not last for a long time and would die soon. someone sued deva for copying. what happened? i was hoping that deva would be convicted.

Hi,

Deva was sued by X for copying his tune in Kadhale Nimmadi.

That particular tune was composed to reflect the culture of Some community living in ooty.

The tune was composed by Mr.X and Swararaj(Swarnamukki MD).

Our great friend Deva xeroxed it as Intha Devathaikku in Kadhale Nimmadi and her Daughter Sangeetha made her singing debut in that song.

Even i am surprised very much at the tolerance of TFM audience. IF they know that it's blatant why do they still rate deva's songs.???

Indha devathaikku was copied from a tune made by Shivaji Raaja of "Kaattrukkenaa Veli" fame.

Guys, I don't know how SUN tv rates songs, but for the past two weeks, the number one selling cassettes have been the soundtrack for "Harichandra", a yet to be released Karthik starrer. MD is Agosh (a collaboration of two or three people). Source: Indiadirect.com's top ten. They base their top ten on cassette sales.

Geetha, I appreciate your candor regarding SP Mahendran's postings. SPM, you don't have to leave the DF. Just show some courtesy for others' opinions.

Harichandra movie was released 2 months back. I saw the movie. Couple of songs are good but I am not sure if it deserves no 1 position.

Listen to "naadodi paadalukku" (SPB) in Harichandra. A nice piece. "munthaanai selai'(Mano,chitra) is ok.

I want to know in which movie the song
Nee Netru Iravu Poothathu enna comes? It is sung by SPB and SJ and I think it is an IR composition in 1992/1993.It has lots of IR touches.It might be from Innisai Mazhai.

They really aren't 100% original (sorry to say this).The song idhu enna kanava is copied from some old hindi album which I saw a few days back.

Idhu Enna Kanava is a copy from Sifar an album by lucky ali.

I am not sure whether akosh copied Lucky Ali or Lucky Ali copied akosh or both of them copied from another source.

More over Harichandran varan is very very similar to Varavu ettana sellavu pathana song.
I think almost 60% copy.

I liked the song Nadodi Pattu from Harichandra.
Quite melodius and great rendering by SPB.

Tappu! Fazil's Next film "Harikrishnans" is a malayalam movie starring both mohanlal and mammoootty where juhi chawla is also joining them. I don't who is the MD but definitely no IR.

IR's next film is with Vikraman. Talks going on. I'll inform you aSaP.
