Sreevidya as a singer

I just happened to see a programme " Symphony"in Kairali TV where Sreevidya rendered number of songs.These include "Alla thero na "(the Hindi one), P.Suseela's "Parthayyavathum Illaya" etc. She was really great when she song. If she chose music as her profession, perhaps we would have had a wonderful singer too. She reminded us of her great mother MLV. What a combination of talents- singing, dancing and acting.Request people to interact on her talents- specially on music, if you have come across any of her such numbers and/ or performances.

  I saw the program when I was in India. Symphony is a great program. Few days before Sreevidya sang I saw someone by name Gayatri singing. She was superb with her melodious malayalam and Hindi songs. Does any one know more about her? If you do kindly post. I like to know more about her.

  Gayathri is a malayalee girl but brought up in Bombay, I understand.She is an excellent singer. She made a wondeful entry in Malayalam through her very famous song "Deena Dayalo rama Sitha Vallabha Rama" sung in little hindusthani style. Watch on sunday at 9.30 PM IST at Kairalee TV A musical programme called "Gandharva Sangeetham". This is anchored by singers Venugopal and Gayatri.

  SreeVidya is into classical music officially now!
  She did a classical music concert at Cochin recently which was partially telecast by Asianet Global. She also came as a guest on the same day in the Asianetglobal news announcing her entry to the professional classical music stage.
  
  Programme was good; she keeps on closing her eyes as she sings. Nithyashree also has this mannerism.

  Being The GREAT MLV's daughter, she mentioned that MLV hadn't really encouraged her to get into Carnatic music in an interview with Yugi Sethu. It seems that it must have been a passion of hers that she is now following! Good luck to her! :)

  Being a great devotee of SaiBaba, SriVidhya has sung some wonderful SaiBhajans. They are available as cassettes.

  An year before, in Jaya TV, there was a sunday programme on "Satya sai bhajan". It was anchored by P. Susheela. Many singers sing as part of the programme. The venue mainly were Prashanthi Nilayam at Puttabarthi, Brindavanam at White Field and SUNDARAM at Chennai.
  
  I saw srividhya singing with PS troop. Her voice was very melodious and sweet.
  
  When the programme ends, there will be one aarathi, being offered by PS, Sandhya (PS' daughter-in-law), Uma ramanan, Ambili Rajasekaran (Malayalam singer). Srividhya also joins them and offer the aarathi singing the song.
