Madhan, MPR, etc.

I note something very different about SP Mahendran. All of us by now, know that he is a a great fan and is undoubtedly "crazy" of Ilayaraja.

But what struck me as unique about Mahendran is that he never attacks anybody personally. I don't even remember him attacking other MDs. And because of that I have very high regards for him. He may not be very competent in English, but he is extremely polite and courteous. I hope that all these qualities of his, are not lost on us.

Mahendran - I can understand your feelings and emotions. Please continue your postings here. It would be very good if you can give the source of your information, though. Thanks.

Hello My Friend......!

Untill now we do not know who is the music director for Fazil and Maniratnam next tamil movie.I wish IR to be the music director.IR is the only guy who can give the great song than other music director.What is Kasturi Raja next tamil movie after" En Assai Rasave".I also read in a magazine that director Vikraman also sign IR for is tamil movie after "Unnidatil Ennai Koduthen".

It's a Massive Task. I have been on that job the last 5 years and Still I have probably only half his compositions till date..

Search the archives for a topic by name " IR's early hits " ..

Most of the old albums are becoming more and more difficult to come by at recording centers..even if u get them ,the recording quality is terrible. If u go to any recording center in Madras and ask for badhrakali ( one of his first few movies ) songs, he 'll definitely give u a strange look..

I recorded most of the IR's early hits about 3 years back and even then it was very hard to get all songs in one place.

SPM - After Kaathalukku Mariyaathei, Fazil's next movie was Murattu Kaathal, starring Vineeth. The MD is Johnsan. But this movie may be a dubbed one.

Fazil's next movie "Harikrishnans" MD is Ouseppachchan, who normally scores for his malfilms. (Kadalukkumariyadai's original "aniyathipraavu" was also his composition.)
