S.R.RAJKUMAR -THE INIMMITABLE MD

S.A. Rajkumar has proved his efficiency as one of the greatest melody makers of tfm.
There is no doubt that he is the most wanted music director in tamil, telugu and kannada films. He concentrates on melody and never fails to give his best in all his films. His rhythmic songs have a variety to enjoy. For chaste music to enjoy and cherish, SA Rajkumar excells all others with his inimmitable style. Being a good singer himself, he has introduced many new singers from the native languages, TN and Andhra, for Tamil and Telugu movies. Can anybody deny that he is not a melody maker?

  so SAR follows the principle in songs also.. what is wrong???
  indha madhri principled men should be praised.

  SAR seems to be making it big in other languages too! Is the Nagarjuna starrer 'eduruleni manushi' a remake of some tamil film? 'cos it has music by SAR! I wonder if someone across the state border will invite SAR to compose fresh ( LOL, LOL, LOL, LOL, :-)) tunes in Telugu?

  As far as I know, SAR is a big HIT in telugu, composing lot of movies these days,
  
  But angayum, he is getting same reviews (I have read a few - with the help of my telugu friends :-) like 'Same tune repeated' - 'SAR is copying his own tunes' etc., etc., :-)

  Good observation on the "Sangeetha Vanil Santhosham thedum singara poonguile." a copy from IR's "Naan Thedum Sevandhi Poovidhu".
  
  I was listening to this song on my India Trip last year. I told my brother, see this song is a lift from "Naan Thedum Sevandhi Poovidhu". At that time, I thought it is a IR song. I did not know that 'Santhosham Thedum..." is a SAR's song.
  
  Man this is the height of lifting. It's a 100 % Xerox copy.

  U, SAR Fans, do u really like his music? SURPRISING? What's ur measure of music? HAve u ever seen the movies, music scored by SAR?? Haven't u felt boring to listen his laa..laa..laa.. tune very often in the film. And of course, the claim of being nominating SAR as an
  inimmitable MD is just hilarious!! Melody should be brought from originality and it should not be derived or copied. U need not think deeply to know about the copies SAR makes. While hearing itself, u can easily make out the original song!! Even " Ennavo, Ennavo, en vasam naan illai" from Priyamaanavalae is a copied one from old IR song! Want to bet with me??
  And the comparison of SAR with IR is really irritating. What? Do u want to compare the great musician who composed symphony, with a lousy MD??!!! Greater Surprise!!!! The true measurement of the ability of a MD is not just in making songs hits and becoming popular among public. It's in the way he takes away the picture to the minds. He should be talented enough to bring the emotional feelings of the actors or a scene thro his music. Typical examples are KAATHALUKKU MARIYAATHAI, MAHANATHI, SETHU, HOUSEFULL, HEY RAM, etc., It's not just in earning fame but towards the term called dedication. Becoming popular is always easier than proving one as a great musician. Popularity is always a wave. It will not carry a same person on it's head all times. If u consider SAR is in fame today, it could be his term. But staying there continously like IR is not just easy.....
  My intention is not to hurt ur feelings or respect towards SAR. Each and every person has a right to express their feelings. But i just want to tell u that if u want to praise him for his so called efforts, praise him! but dont compare with other counterparts! That too comparing himself with IR... that SAR himself will not agree...

  SAR is one of the best MDs of today. He has caught up with the trend and has a style of his own. Mudslinging postings in this thread may have many reasons or envy. But, the truth is that he gives catchy melodies which has made him popular with tamil telugu and kannada film music.
  The only mistake which he seems to continue with other MDs before his time like IR and after like ARR and Deva, is that he fails to use tamil voices for tamil stars in tamil films taken for the tamils. If this is not corrected he will be perished by the same people who cherished him. This is history and happened even with the great of the greatest MDs.

  Just because SAR scores the music for many films it doesn't make him a great MD. Most of his songs are really sub standard. He is one of the worst MDs ever IMHO.

  Is it? I'm not sure! 'cos I was watching the top ten songs on Gemini TV (comes every sunday, 9:30 am)...and out of ten, SAR was the composer for 6 songs! Mani Sharma used to hold that position a few weeks back!
