in thirai ambalam adityan has given a 'pulambal' interview.he says he is the one who started gana trend.also he says songs become hit only because heros. is it right? is it true?

  Yes, I understood.
  The only time when A had given a big hit was when his debut film was released. I am not getting its name right now. And after a long time, his sivelaperi pandi had a couple of good numbers. Many call ARR a Sound Enggineer. But A is actually a sound Enggineer. He acted in one of Sun TV serials as music collage teacher. Pathetic acting. I happend to see it a couple of times.

  most of the mds we have except genuine ones like IR,ARR most of them are good show managers thats all.
  Hope you guys know whom I am talking about.
  How many of them have strong knowledge about chord structure,notation ?
  Assts do the work they get the name not only in music even in film direction.

  True..I heard it was joseph krishna who used to

  when adithyan did "amaran" i thought he was a good prospect, but unluckily he did have good directors approachin him and "amaran" to flopped. I guess sivalperipandi bought him to notice again, mostly bcoz the movie did well!
  
  he was prathap pothen's MD but not for his aathma and vanaja girija.. i dunno why?
  
  i agree with adithyan that no matter how talented a MD is he needs to get breaks with good directors/actors or atleast his movies shld do well( e.g minnale)

  CF...Adityan's first film was Amaran as Bharath has mentioned above...the "gaana" style songs in TFM was quite new then (I think, correct me if I'm wrong)...and was quite a hit among high-school kids and colleges...then there was that good number in "Sevelperi Paandi" featuring Agana and that's it. "Lucky Man" was pathetic and very pedestrian !

  BTW...if Adityan has real talent and his output is excellent, he would have got the right breaks.
  So his statement doesn't hold water....if he had done really good music in "Lucky Man"...he would have been in the Wanted MDs list...but he showed his true colours in that film :(

  'disgruntled music assistant' - these kind of things dont happen only in music business. It happens all the time in all the fields. Ask any software engineer, they will tell you how they have given ideas to their architect/manager and never been credited for that. That is why everybody should have some entrepreneurial spirit in them, to go out and try their luck with their own venture. Self-confidence is a very important ingredient in ones career growth. Technical competency can only take you so far. (This advice is for me as well ..I am just reminding myself :))
