Friends, Dheena and Vanjinathan - All are Box office Hits. Good sign for IR fans.

All times in EST +10:30 for IST.

Friends - As expected became a Box office Hit. Both movie and music has good response among public.

Dheena - Definitely going to be a First 100 days movie for YSR.

Vanjinathan - Though KR's music is not worth mentioning, Atleast it should break the KR's image as Jinx.

Question : Will IR family make use of it?

Suggestion : IR family should have good marketing team.

  Really, I think the success of these films were attributed to a heck of a lot more things than the music.

  OF late every release in the first week itself projected as Box office hits.I n reality they hardly give any Returns...So many theatres around and too few films releasing even LOOTY is retained in a Huge theatre like Devi Paradise for more than 52 days....Genuine Hits for this year is Friends and Minnale...Minnale also Big hit only in cities and overseas....Earlier days theatres used to bring in RE runs of old flicks...now with TVS they are forced to retain the same film till they get another new film...
  So IR family may not benefit much...as the filmdom situation is pretty DOWN.....TNS

  Even the TV count down Top 10 movies,the ratings are among the available released movies and it does not mean NO1,2,3, movies shown there are always HITS.
  In fact KanduKondene was NO1 movie in Sun TV for 6 weeks where it was a Genuine Flop. TNS

  I agree with Veriyan. But I feel that friends have one or two good number. But, if you consider IRs standards then lots remain wanting.
  Dheena is OK considering the story( nothing as such) and theme of the songs.
  Vandhinathan - oops Vanjinathan - is really a crap considering every thing and nothing.
  Listen to Grahan(Hindi) from the same lad.

  Minnale songs are good, not sure about commercial success of the movie. If the movie becomes a hit, it adds to the popularity of the album. HJ is in good demand.

  STS, GEE may be right... Last week, `vaseegara', which was ranked No 1 by Raj TV was not listed anywhere among the top 10 in Sun TV music album count down (1st position Friends)...there's some definite `behind the screen' reason...

  In my opinion, Vijay TV's chikku bukku (Top 20 songs) reflects the public view. I find Vijay TV's chikku bukku to be genuine. Raj TV top 10 is not like that. Its is not at all genuine. SUN TV is ok to some extent.
  Minnalae No.1 and Dheena No.2 and Friends No.3 in Vijay tvs chikku bukku.

  Vijay TV's prog. is a cute one. Its presentation is nice and seems to project the general public opinion. I think they sincerely collect datas from various music shops in varios corners of the state. I just head this from somebody. I like its presentation very much.

  IR using his sons name as MD in Dheena and Vanjinathan instead of is name as songs are looks like IR style nothing special. Better IR should work behind KR & YSR to promote his sons name as they do not know about music.

  deena, friends are fantastic album,,,,nothing like run of the mill...recycle stuff of ARR and deva..
