Shankar and ARR split?

Shankar’s magnum opus Boys is delayed! The musical entertainer was scheduled for August 15 release, but the rumour is that A.R.Rahman who had fallen out with Shankar is taking his time over the re-recording. After this Shankar will have to finish the DTS work.

Meanwhile the audio of Boys is creating waves though Harris Jayaraj and his Kaakha Kaakha is giving stiff competition. But the CD of Boys priced at Rs 90 is selling like hot cakes and will do better after the release of the film.

As of now, the film is likely to release on August 29 or September 5 depending on a lot of other trade factors. Producer Ratnam is also releasing the Telugu version simultaneously.

  Oh no, now the IR camp is going to be happy and going to make fun of us for what some people here said about Thankar Bachan leaving IR!

  come on u people..there are no way ARR will split with Shankar....both of them makes a perfect team...all ARR's songs in Shankar's films are chartbusters...ARR is the only MD who can cope up with Shankar's futuristic mind in film making..no other MD can provide better music for Shankar's movies..
  Even in BOYS..ARR had set again a new trend in TFM....guys, just relax...its all just rumours...

  There is one more movie on the line getting delayed because of ARR (Telugu Nani and Tamil New ). He did just three songs in telugu and yet to complete the other three songs. Producers are waiting for ARR to deliver the other songs so that they can complete shooting the songs. Seems that ARR is busy with Chinese movie. The Unit has almost completed rest of the movie.
  
  No wonder that people ditch ARR if he cant keep call sheets and deliver the goods in time. ARR has repeatedly done this. If they are going to loose more money than the benifit they get because of ARR, then there is no point in working with ARR. People are realising this.

  I won't agree that, ARR is the only MD director who can cope up with Shankars futuristic thinking.If Shankar thinks the same way he is defnitely making the mistake.He has to try some other MD's even.YSR has expressed his desire to work with that eminent Director.Already ARR reached his heights.Shankar or Mani should get this young chap into the world arena of music.He has that calibre to do justice to these great directors movies.THese directors can expose YSR's talents to the world.

  This is what people told about IR & MR combination. What happened you know? At the time of IR the dependency of tamil field on IR was phenomenal and even then it happened.
  
  Now nobody depends on ARR eventhough he does justice most of the time.(Last four movies are not that great and then he did justice in Boys). This being the case, it can happen to ARR & Shankar also.
  
  That aside YSR, VS and HJ are doing well equally and they can finish task in time as for them Tamil Industry is only open to. Things could change.
