  The reviewer in that site does not have a good taste (you can see how he rated dir Vamsy's movie). He gives high rating to mass oriented films. So, just read the story and don't bother much about his analysis.

  The film may be based on parts of Hinduism but IT IS NOT ABT HINDUISM. Pls don't bring in religion here.

  guys, he didi not talk anything abt spirirualism in the movie rather i did'nt find any spiritual msg from the music.

  Rajini at his very best....worth all the long wait for all Rajini fans out there. No other actor can even come close to Rajini style...only one of his kind...so all Rajini fans go ahead and have a time of your life with this energy-bomb from Rajini...Kudos to ARR also for the great songs and background...

  Aanmigam is common to all religions. I personally request u not to bring religious thing for my personel review. One more thing - if I am muslim, as per your statement I should have praised ARR for this junk music. I never did that. Please see my posting in BABA Music Review thread.
  
  Not only me, see THE HINDU review about this movie or any other fact about the movie, you will understand the fact. BABA is much-hyped movie, and definitely fans like u, it is sure a big disappointment. No doubts. But being part of tamil feelings, veembukku nalla irukkunnu solluveenga.
  
  Yesterday only, we celebrated our Independence Day. At lease here after, don't see anything in terms of Relgiion. Don't mix up your mind like your 'Thalaivar'.

  Rajni fan commits suicide
  Coimbatore, August 25: Unable to bear the criticism against matinee idol Rajnikant’s new film ‘Baba’, a fan committed suicide by consuming a cyanide-mixed drink in the city late last night, police said today.
  
  
  Some friends of the 38-year-old Selvam, a die-hard fan of Rajnikant, had reportedly made some adverse remarks about the film, which is on show in theatres here.
  
  
  Unable to bear the criticism, the dejected Selvam consumed the cyanide-mixed drink at R S Puram in the city and collapsed on the road, resulting in his instantaneous death, police said.
  
  
  Police who rushed to the spot recovered some letters from his shirt pocket, including one addressed to the film star.
  
  
  In the letter to Rajnikant, Selvam had reportedly appealed that though ‘Baba’ was a good film, he should try to make better films in future, police said. (Agencies)

  "Baba' has bombed and its official as per many magazines reviews. Even though Rajini's prescence in the movie was obvious, lousy music and tailor made story really turned the public off. Hope he stops taking people for granted atleast next time.

  baba movie is considered a spiritual and more hinduism . although it brings many useful messages to mankind but the storyline is absolutely horrible . Shortly i can say that this is another ALAVANTHAN remake . I hope suresh krishna back 2 normal again in making films b'cause his last films (annamalai,bactha) are superb .so ,why he so dumb follow to kamal hassan style in making movie. Irukerethe utupute illathatheke allayatinghe . rajni sir pls don't stop until here. this movie is not as what we expected . do another movie pls!!!!!
