Any reviews abt paandavar boomi by Bharadwaj
I find avaravar vazhakaiyill aayiram aayiram maatrangal to be great.

  yeah that sing is pretty good. But the line in the song - 'athu oru azhagiya nila kaalam' (or something like that - reminds me of a interlude from a old hindi song 'bindiya chamkegi'...I think it was composed by Madan Mohan. The interlude in that song is EXACTLY same as that of the line in this song. If you listen to the hindi song you'd automatically exclaim this!
  
  The rest of the songs are pretty bland. The 'aye samba' song is so lifeless. So is another song where the heroine is shown around bathing and dancing alone. Actually the thing that comes to my mind when I listen to PB's songs (except the song 'avaravar vaazhkayil') is that somebody had caught the songs by its throat and killed it...they sound so damn lifeless and flat!
  
  I'm surely not a Bharadwaj hater, I thot his previous works were damn good particularly paarthen rasithen.

  one song in this movie (forgot the lyrics totally) is heavily inspired from Deva's 'AaakashavaaNi' (movie : Priyamudan).,
  
  May be Deva's version itself is inspired by some other song ???

  Just finished watching the movie. Had a great satisfaction of watching a splendid movie after a real long time; hats off to Cheran.
  
  Coming to Bharathwaj's music and BGM. It’s a total let down. I was expecting the Bharathwaj of Parthein Rasithen. But a total disappointment. He had an excellent scope throught the movie to show his finesee ala the first 15 mins of the movie rarely has a dialog. It was all the kathal munangal as BGM. His mandolin and string movements are repetitive (like the ones in "ennakena yerkanave....."). I felt one of the songs was a lift from a Hindi song (which I cannot correlate).

  First of all, Thank u Cheran, for giving this beautiful film.
  
  nice songs.. "avaravar vazhkaiyil", "thozha.. thozha"
  
  casual acting by RAJKIRAN, RANJITH, MANORAMA.. a superb chance for 'kulla kurangu' arunkumar. homely heroine SHAMITHA.(ofcourse, xerox copy of her akka)
  
  xcellent work by bharatwaj.
