Raga appreciation programme on T.V

All times in EST +10:30 for IST.

The malayalam channel Kairali is now showing a raga appreciation programme named 'Ragolsavam'( festival of ragas). It is telecast at 9.05pm IST on Sundays and Mondays. The re-telecast will be at 0.30AM on Fridays and Saturdays ( or night 12.30 on thursdays and fridays).

They are now telecasting the tenth raga "abheri"/Bimplas. Malayalam/tamil/hindi songs are used to give the viewers an idea about the raga.

I recommend it to all.
