Ladies (who are not singers) in TFM

Can we attempt a compilation for the list of women who were involved in TFM (lyricists, composers, instrumentalists) and their works ?

  There is one more penkavi named Thamarai- the lyricst of Kuyilgal yenthan paadal in Iniyavale and Malligai poove in Unnidathil yennai kodutehin
  
  There were female musicians like Sulamaggalam Rajaletchumi and even S. Janaki has composed some songs.
  
  One more penkavi is Kannadhasan's daugther Visali has written a not so famous song which was sung by either PS or VJ.

  Maragathamani's sister composed music for a movie.. I cannot recall her name.. the movie was naLaya theerppu, Vijay's first starring vehicle.

  SM, Yes Vishaali has written a few songs. One song in Andha naal of 90's. (See Tamil Films forum for more details on this movie.)

  Bhanumathi was often called "Ashtavadhani" because of her mutiple talents.
  She composed music, wrote lyrics, and we all are aware that she sang quite a lot of hit numbers.
  
  She directed this movie with a team of child artists (Shobhana, Rohini included) called "Bhakta Dhuruva Maarkandeya" for which she took on almost all major resposibilities, including music direction.

  What about the great P.Bhanumathi - I am surprised that people are ignorant of this legendary one woman industry - who was an accomplished actress,singer,lyricist,director,producer,editor,music composer etc..... Yes, she was also the principal of Govt.college of music, Madras. and the owner of Bharani studios. My , what a biodata that is. P.B. is really matchless in the Indian film industry.Here is wishing that she gets the Dadasaheb Phalke asap.
