Harris Jayaraj, The next Isai Puyal : Came and went like a whirlwind :-)

HJ came to TFM with minnale.His subsequent releases of Majnu and 12B have been disasters.HJ will not be able to make any sort of impact on TFM due to his lack of musical talent, knowledge or originality.What do you think?

  Here and there, I hear that 12B songs are good.

  I think we have to give him a bit more time before passing that sort of a judgement. The problem is that Minnale was such a huge hit! The expectations for anything after that were always high. Had he released albums with Minnale being the latest one, would we be questioning him? I know that Majnu and 12B haven't had the same impact as Minnale, but i think we should give HJ more time to make an impression.

  I believe that people should be given a chance too, but I think that HJ was overhyped right from the start. Almost every song in Minnale was a copy of some song or the other.

  i had more copied versions of harris jeyaraj from rehmans previous tunes,which i'll be giving later.hope we have heard all this before and we don't need a harris jeyaraj to remake them again. there are others to do it. i hope we are not deaf anyway. it is sad to hear there is someone to say this fellow is starting to rule tamil film music.
  this is not in support for any other music directors or because of any envy on harris jeyaraj. this is true he has re-written the lyrics for the previous rehman tunes. if he would have been under anyone else,he might have surely reflected them as well.i want anyone to take this as a positive comment,and encourage him in giving really new good numbers.
  we are always ready to welcome new sincere guys,like yuvan and karthickraja who are working hard to give better music.let jeyaraj learn from them first than to blindly compare himself unnecessarily with Rehman as papers say nowadays.

  Jeyan..you are my friend. You said what I had in heart. This HJ is such an irritating guy you know.
  I frequently see the add of RHTDM , where in a scene Maddy tries to punch on Saif ali khan's face. If you see that scene just observe the flute and the BGM there. That flute piece is nothing but the small flute bit that comes before the second stanza of "pennalla pennalla roja poo" song of uzhavan. After that flute the song transfoms into tabla , voilin and flute.
  HJ seems to be doing day night research in ARR music.

  BGM of RHTDM and Minnale - Are they Same?
  BGM of RHTDM is lot inspired/copied from IR's How to Name it! Specially in emotional scenes in the last 1/2 hr - Violin phrases come from IR's albums.

  HJ is an untalented un imaginative man who doesn't deserve to be given any credit at all.All directors are fools to be fooled by his excuse of music.It is just ARR copying.

  What happened and happening to HJ in this era of ARR domination is very much similar in terms of scenario to probably SAR & Chandraboss in the 80's when IR rules the TFM Kingdom.

  NISI DUMENSTRA FROSTRA AR RAHMAN (AR Rahman still the best and will be the best forever).If there is 10,000 HJ in INDIA film industry If compare to all 1 guy will get the #1 rank not only in india but also in the world and the guy no need introduction because he is THE ONE-AR RAHMAN.You just cant hide your hears for his music if compare to HJ music.

Poove vai pesum podhu is a xerox copy of Kaadhal sugamanadhu in an album called Andhi malai………..Mudhar kanave’s first stanza is exactly like Kadhal Kasakkudhaya from Aanpavam…. HJ mixes different songs and doesn’t seem to have any individuality.. ARR proved his capability in his next three films after Roja, but HJ seems to be going down……. Further in an article, I read that HJ even after his failures seems to be demanding more money which will lead to his downfall(www.tamilthirai.com …. In the kisu kisu column)… A true music lover can easily spot HJ’s tunes being copied from other songs….

  WHO IS HARRIS JEYARAJ?
  hj has been created by ar rehman and assisted with ar rehman.eventhough hj did some film and all the film's songs were up to date followed by the way of ar rehman.he has no self capacity.i think hj fit for copying the other musician's tunes and music.god bless harris jeyaraj.

  HJ's Vaseegara is a note by note copy from the album by Turtles(not sure which one). The album songs appear in the film "Making Mr.Right".
