dear Tamilfilm fans

I would like to get contact addresses of Perinayaki and Santhana Krishnan who have got old tamil film records. They, I think are at Chennai

Sivaprasad, I think you are horribly mistaken.
PA Periyanayaki (Panrutti Aadhilakshmi Perianayaki)has been dead for so many years now. She was a great singer, with a ringing voice, who sang in films like Sri Valli, Ezhai padum paadu, Malaikallan, Koondukili, Gyanasoundari etc. and a whole lot of thanippadalgal. I am not aware if she had a collection of records.

Sivaprasad: You need to keep track of your own thread better:-) On the page that lists all the tfm threads (the previous page to this one), you will find towards the top, a Google search box. Type in GNB in that and hit enter. You will see your old thread listed first and then you can figure out who Mr. Natarajan is and what he said. The Nagarajan at the end is my typo.

ALIGHAN he is possession of some good collection =buit recordings may be not that much good. Just we can guess how they sang. Thats all. But he is no in possession of all good rare songs.

SEKAR - is running a shop at t Nagar-he is possession of not only fim hits'old film hits / carnatic / devotional all running shop for 20 years nearly.

Sivaprasad: Their list of movies varies over time - some that are available become unavailable and vice versa. They had uthayaNan vaasavathaththai (the correct full name) a couple years ago. They told me the sound quality was not that great and they were cleaning it up. I thought I'd buy it the next year and that's the last I heard.

This sounds like the eternal wait for pavaLakkodi and manOnmani from Columbia Films.
