IRs instruments

Guys what do you feel about IRs instruments ??
Do u think they need no change or they need??

I feel now a day slowly IR is changing regarding this.....Virumandi he has used some new nice instruments that sounded fresh....

Also KARAKATTAKAARI though village story , i had observed lot of new CLEAR ,CRISPY,SHARP instruments making the songs sound fresh though they are like typical IR village songs that he composed for hundreds of movies with his formula.....

  You are right in a way. New instruments,new sounds. But if the tunes are old???
  
  The karagattakari song "kaatukili" resembles( same tune/raga) as "manguyile" of karagaattakaran!!
  Ir fans are likely to get disappointed as they expect fresh ideas/ tunes from the great man.
  
  Why cant IR give us fresh/ new tunes to make us happy??
