Singers wrong for the song given to them.

Let me explain the topic some more. I admit this is not a profound topic but I wanted to discuss it to see how many out there feel this way about some songs. This topic is to discuss, which singer would have been a better alternative than the original, based on the song's mood, emotion, etc. I hope we can back up our claims a bit instead of bluntly saying that all Mano songs would have been better if sung by SPB.

  Let me start off the topic with "Adi Kaana Karunguyilae" from "Poonthoatta Kaavalkaaran". With its folksy tune and jubilant lyrics, I felt that KJY was a mismatch for this song. I like
  KJY for many of his classics, but this song should have belonged to SPB or Malaysia Vaasudevan. They would have brought out the celebration in the lyrics much better than KJY did.

  I agree 100% with your comment Udhaya it also goes for a lot of songs that Mano sings ......they would have been a great hit with SPB any comments to that

  bala is an all rounder..versatile. jesudass is fine with carnatic classicals only. he makes a fool of himself otherwise. mano is a copt-cat! nothing great.

  1)ALL Mano songs should have been sung by SPB
  2)'Thani thoti thedi vantha' from sindhu bhairavi should have been sung by SPB
  3) 'Raaja Raajathi Raajan intha rajaa' should have been sung by SPB instead of IR
