  But honestly tell whether IR is in the same position to "Lift(bring back to life)" someones crumbling/dead career.
  
  IR's service to music via people like Sudhakar/Ramarajan has often ended up as disservice to Tamil cinema(of which music is in integral part).

  avar ittathu pichchai illai, He got 'sambalam' for whatever movies he worked for and he delivered his best,
  
  Infact nobody can deny the fact that most of IR's hits came for 'unknown' and 'new' directors than well known figures - he mentioned in one of his interviews that, he likes scoring for new faces, to give them some break - using / not-using it is in their hands, I feel same applies for Actors as well - I don't see anything wrong here.

  but afaik ramarajan's movies weren't any moron's movies. to me these movies were better than idhayam, kadhalar dhinam kind of "hi fi" rubbish movies.

  "Lipstick Mannan Ramarajan"? I know this is not related to tfm, but was always dying to find out if this was true. Someone told me this about 7 years ago.

  I didn't say movies were made by morons....but ramarajan definitely IS.
  
  idhayam was a good effort. THe only good movie from kadhir...the rest were all, as u say, rubbish.
