Your opinion of these movies

I like to know your opinion on these movies.

1)Mahanadhi - Kamal, Shobana
2)Kizhakku Mugam - Karthik
3)Thoorathu Pacchai - Karthik, Suhasini
4)Uzhavan - Prabhu, Banupriya
5)Gopura Vasalile - Karthik, Bhanupriya
6)Guna - Kamal
7)Ore Ratham - Karthik, Seetha

  Musical wise the songs in the movie Guna, Mahanadhi,Uzhavan and Gopura Vasalile are amazing.
  I would defiently reccomend you to watch these movies just for the music.
  
  out of the movies mentioned in your list I've seen
  Guna and Mahanadhi, not movies that you want to see ona lazy sunday when the suns out, they are different from the run of the mill stuff,a cross between commercial and art,I was a kid when I saw those 2 movies and both Mahandhi and Guna left a lump in my throat after seeing it.We also studied these 2 films for our film paper at Otago uni.I think Suganya played the lead in Mahandhi not shobana.
  
  Gopura Vasalile, I saw this movies again wen I was like in intermediate,I would reccomend this movie as well,lovely music I think it's directed by Priyadarshan,some nice numbers like Kaadal Kavithaigal and Devathai pol, I think this movie also had Singer Mano in it as well, thats right It has Kartick without a mous. in this movie as well. The train scene in the title had a nice flute intrumental.
  
  Uzhavan is ok, it's an average film, nice songs though, however compared to the trash that is being offered now, I think even movies that I thought were hopless then is much better now, Banupriya is nice in this movie.
  
  I've seen Kilakku mugan as well, it has a song called "Athukkulle Iyer attu ponnu", I know the movie deals with caste issues and being an Iyengar or something long the lines, didn't think much of it.
  
  not too sure about the other 2 movie ore Ratham and Thorratu PAchchi, would like to know if anyone has any info.

  My friendly neighborhood Indian store had only one tamil movie. Of all the tamil movies ever made, the guy decided to choose the one and only, the best, the ultimate movie, the greatest of 'em all ... Sivappu Nila.
  The title song had Sujatha posing as a pattikkaadu woman coming to pattanam, getting burgled, and catching the criminal and coming in as a police officer in the next scene.
  The music was by S-G. I didn't get past the titles. I'm trying to get a refund.

  mm seems to be all the movies are some wat artistic type. but cinema is considered as a succes only even if the artistic thing w'dve protrayed well. in that sense, i really keep GUNA as top rated movie in the list and then followed by Mahanadi........
