Whose voice suits Rajnikanth better - SPB or Malaysia Vasudevan?

Hi,

I was going through the archive and I found out that SPB and Malaysia Vasudevan have sung more songs for the Super Star than anyone else. I just wanted to know whose voice suits Rajnikanth more?

  spb's voice suits almost everyone in the industry so does it suit rajini best examples are rakkama,nan autokaran etc

  Having only seen 7 SS movies I can't claim to be an expert but 'Raman aandalum raavanan aandalum' from Mullum Malarum(78) & 'Nandoorathu Nari oorathu' from BHairavi(78) ESTABLISHED THE singing style of the SS. Were these MV or SPB?. Did TMS sing for any early SS songs? Please help out.

  of course he did. in annai OR Alayam, TMS sang this wonderful number "amma nee sumandha piLLai" and some other numbers. If u notice rajnikant in those songs carefully, he lip movement will be diff from what he does when bala or MV sings (which looks natural).He used to sing with mouth kinda, wide open to give the audience a feel that he's changing his voice while singing.
  
  Well, IMO, MV's voice is closer to his,but Bala's voice suits his style,his way of speaking.
  remember, "....ada inrikkum ,enrikkum,nalla nAl..." in rAkkamma, which is how rajni wud've pronounced.
  
  My fav rajni numbers are "AgAya gangai","pattu vaNNa sElaikkAri" and "podhuvAga emmanasu thangam" all by MV.

  Shankar is absolutely right ! Another prominent example - MV for Sathyraj and SPB for Rajni in "Ennama Kannu" !
  
  The lines are -
  MV: Velli panam ennidaththil kotti kidakku
  Vetti payal unnidathil enna irukku
  
  SPB: Sathiyatha pesuginra nenjam irukku
  Uthamana nee irundha meesay murukku !
  
  ...as opposed to 'meesa' or 'meesai' :)))

  But the most striking SPB/Rajni number for me will always be "Kaadhalin Deepam Onru" for Rajni's acting (in that song alone :)), SPB's singing and IR's music !
