I watched it yesterday. Good team effort. Very different from the usual movies one gets to watch these days. The music was a revelation too...

  Mitr is a cute film. Well made, directed and acted. Hope to see more meaningful films like this from Revathy. I own a DVD of Mitr. Need I say more?

  I was watching 'Behind the scenes' in the DVD. Revathy says that this movie was initially intended to be a teleserial. I think the nuances of the theme would have been much better captured in the longer version. The movie seems a bit hurried...
  
  Though the credit for music score has been given to Bhavatharani, in the 'end credits' a lot of musicians have been acknowledged. Film music remained an authority of one person till ARR entered the scene and it is good to see everyone credited for there respective contributions.

  ARR wants lot of improvisation from artists, while IR specifies to last note to every artist. So the artists are producing to music to the satisfaction of maestro, so nothing wrong in attributing to all credit to one and only IR.

  Nice movie.iam sure many who visit the chatrooms can identify themselves with the Heroine.I enjoyed it very much.As selva had mentioned,it would have turned much better had it been a teleseriel.
