The emergence of Vidyasagar

Slowly but surely Vidyasagar has earned himself a place in TFM. His latest movies Dhool, Run, Anbe Sivam have not just passable but sure fire hit songs. Now it makes one wonder what were is other major hit songs. So if you were to compile the Top 10 of VS best songs in tamil what would they be?

  The song "Kadhal Vandhadhum" from Poovellam UN Vaasam sung by Sadhana Sargam and K.J.YEsudass is really good song. But the song is spoiled by Sadhana Sargam.. Her Tamizh is very Bad in that. Can't even understand few lines.

  I think that song Kannale Miya is a nice melodious duet b/w Unni Menon and Chinmayi. Chinmyai's voice is like Sujatha and Unni Menon's lifless voice resembles Lifefull voice of KJY

  ABC Vidyasagar is not waste his was misunderstood genius who gets the success he deserves now with good movies like Dhill, povellam un Vaasam, Run, Villain, Dhool and Anbe Sivam. After his third round he has gained a top spot among tollywood. It Unusal to VS run well but now the tamil audionce appreciate him. Vidyasagar is not waste but musical taste.

  How can you ever forget the movie "Uyirodu Uyiraga"
  I have not seen the movie. But i relish the songs even today. Such fab songs from VS.
  Esp. "Anbe Anbe", "Nadhi Enge..."
  Probably this was his best compared to all his songs recently.

  Has one one heard the songs from Jithan (rajasekar, ramba, sountharya) i am pretty sure the songs are copied from hindi songs. VS was called AR Rahman of Keral but he is raelly Deva of Kerala, because he copy a lot. Why do we have MDs who cant be innovative? Vidyasagar is from Andra too thats why the tamil audience havent appreciated his music.
  Since ive bringed bad stuff about VS- here's a good news AR Rahman and VS went to the same musicteacher- and VS is able to play 8 instruments.

  It is the other way around. Bholi baali ladki is from the movie sabase bada kiladi. Rajesh roshan scored the music for the film. All the songs are copied from somewhere, including a badly remade version of muqabala muqabala.
  Only song, I can think of VS copying from hindi,
  'Mutham thara erra edam' ( Jai hind). The original song is from the movie darr ( music shiv-hari). But it is quite possible that both the songs derived from a punjabi song.

  VS has an formula based approach Punabi folk + Mix with IR old tunes + sound like ARR + lyrics like Deva songs and call it as Original creation

  yo abc first learn what happened . there are a lot of arr fans in kerala too . they like vs too. the movie was a big hit here . may be one of the top grossers in malayalam history.
  
  the fact is that the songs picturization and situation came similar to aleypayuthe. the dir and vs are intimate friends. the dir told him to add the stating bits to the songs . the starting orches is similar . but the songs are totally different and made out of different ragams. there were 5 songs in the movie all them were hits and set a record sale in 10 yrs mfm audio indust.

  Which Music director doesnt copy today even Ilayaraja and AR Rahman does it. abc if u are so unhappy with MDs try to compose on your own and see how hard it is today to avoid copying other songs!
