Unni Menon Wins Best Playback Singer Award

Unni Menon has won the Best Playback Singer Award for 2002 from the Tamil Cine Technicians Associations for the song Engey Entha Vennila from the movie Varushamellam Vasantham.

His latest song - Santhippoma - for ARR in Ennakku 20 Unakku 18 is No.1 in all Tamil TV Channel Top Ten.

  thatz nice to hear. unnimenon has something in his voice that makes ppl sit up and listen, right from "pudhu vellai mazhai" in roja to "sandhipomma" in e 20 u 18. anyway, i would always say that he came out best in "poongatrile un swasathai..." from uyire and "nadhiye...nadhiye" from rythm.
