  The above site is an excellent resource on this subject.
  The songs have been categorised based on the notes used in the song, which in turn is linked backed to the raaga; the question I've is, does just the notes in song be enough for it to be linked to a "Raaga" ?.

  That was my contention too!
  That's why I started it with a song purely on one raagam, just to get it going.
  Let us try to list those songs only which are purely based on a specific raagam or raagamaalikai.[but clearly identifiable]

  "Aadal kalaiye" and "Thoodhu selvadharadi" are pure classical oriented usage of Charukesi.
  "Amma nee sumandha pillai " from Annai Or Alayam and "Mayanginen solla thayanginen" can be grouped as Charukesi usage in a lighter form.
  "Siriya Paravai " from Andha Or nimidam can be categorized as Charukesi used in fusion .
