Why is this such a biased forum?

Why are there so many ARR haters in this forum?
Now think and give an honest reply...Do movies like RED with songs like Italy kattai deserve to be ahead of Parthale Paravasam?

I can't believe this...

  Well Italy ...is definetly not ...but no one talks ..P.P cannot be justified to be a good album

  I think there are many passive df'ers here who are actually ARR fans. However from what I have observed, ARR fans are mostly quiet and non-confrontational while the HCIRFs are a class of their own. They make the most extreme statements, fight till death to argue they r right, attack in mobs, and are usually alot more over-confident and outspoken then the ordinary ARR fan. SO it looks like the IR mob rules the scene, but it may jus be a case of the loud minority.
  And i've learnt not to take those votes seriously either cos it also strikes me like the work of the restless minority trying their best to push all IR & Co's movies to the top of the list and the ARR's songs to the bottom of the list.
  Maybe admin shud conduct an experiment. They shud list a few non-existent movies there and label them as ARR's, IR's, YSR's etc and see what happens. Believe me, even if no one has heard the music, the IR movies and YSR movies will take 1st and 2nd places while the ARR's movie will be at the bottom.

  maybe i missed out something.
  But if u look at discussion threads about IR, normally there will be peaceful uninterrupted discussion. If you look at ARR threads, there'll always be abuses, passing around of links denigrading him in some way, those famous ALL_CAPS personalities letting out a stream of vulgarities aimed at no one and everyone, etc. Doesn't that tell u something?

  There is no need to conduct any experiment. Reality tells on who sells and who don't. Let the cats continue to think the world is dark. :)
  
  As for Newtotheforum, do your bit instead of complaining. Contribute your views and opinions and bring some semblance of fairness and balance to this forum.

  Are you biased being a Hindu/Muslim/Christian? Think logically. You like/think/listen what you believe in. Every one can air their opinions. Why expecting some one to agree to our opinions?

  If u cant call an album with songs like Azhage Sugama, Athisaya thirumanam, Manmadha masam & Nee than en desiya geetham as a good album, then no other album can be called so. Not to forget the more popular numbers like moondrluthu, nathir thinna & rathiriyin sonthakkaaraa.... What else you guys need in an album ??
  
  In IRs days, even if a film has one or two good songs, it was called a superhit. But now, even if all the songs are good, its termed as below average... and this happens only for ARR ... Nandha & MTV hardly has two or three good numbers ... so has azhagi ( kuruvi kadicha & damakku damakku are below average ). But they are called super-duper hits... "kali kaalam muthi poiduchu"
  
  And whatz so fascinating about the songs from Thavasi, Punnagai desam and red ? Why are they ahead of PP ?

  To those who crib about the position of ARR albums ...
  
  Every album of ARR was at top here except tenali, PP and AA now ..
  
  Albums like Aandan Adimai, Vanjinathan, Rishi were at the bottom here as well ..
  
  So, don't accuse others of closing their eyes. If you want people to vote according to the cassete sales, then you don't need it at all, you can as well post sales figures instead.

  Vote according to cassette sales???
  You talk about cassette sales like it's some aspect of a song itself. cassette sales are an indication of people's preferences. They make a point about what people like. They are not something to use to decide if u like a song or not. It is a result, not a cause...u know wat i mean? What u'd expect is that the votes here wud tally with those sales figures.

  Ok, AG. Maybe reading that line again, I think what u meant is that we shud not expect the votes to tally with cassette sales or if not what's the point of having such a vote in the first place.
  
  True. But u know no one wud buy a 1000 cassettes to prove that they like a certain MD's music. But voting repeatedly is cheaper.
  
  Plus sometimes, there r giveaways. Like watched the movie, Cheaters? Certain highly unlikely things/events or out-of-ordinary trends will tell u that something fishy is going on. U jus have to observe closely and use ur common sense to figure it out.
