Is Deva the Ideal MD for Rajini Films

Dear Friends
Many MDs have scored music for Rajini films right from MSV,IR,Chandrabose,Babipi Lahiri,Laxmikanth pyarilal ,ARR to Deva.
But I personally believe Devas music potray the Rajinis charachter in the film than the others ofcourse i am not denying the good work of other MDs, its just that Rajini is a Mass actor and Devas music also is of the same type
for example right from the songs Vanthenda Palkaran,Naa Autokaran to Athanda ithanda all are typical rajini's song and no wonder they all are super duper hit, ofcourse Rajinis another favourite will be ARRs Oruvan oruvan from muthu
and IR 'Oora therunchukiten' but I think Devas recent songs have such an mass appeal
IR songs for Rajini too melodious and classy
ARR songs for Rajini too hifi
Devas songs simple and downtoearth just like Rajnis roles in his films so what you guys have to say

  Hmm .. yeah .. I'd hafta agree dat Deva is a good MD for Rajni. I am a hardcore fan of ARR and Rajni!! So, as you can see, rajni is getting old, and I don't think he can keep up with the music that ARR produces. Oruvan Oruvan mudhalali and En peru padaiyappa fit Rajni real well. But, I guess Deva does the kind that arr can really do well dancing at I guess.

  I thnk A. R. Rahman's composition in Padaiyappa was good. It 'portrayed' Rajni.

  thanga thalaivar deva !! His songs are best suited
  for Rajnikant, no doubt.
  
  ARR doesn't fit bcos he uses udit narayan (of all the people) for rajnikant...it's like using TMS for ajit or uNNikrishnan for saratbabu.

  What about IR contribution to Rajini?
  I think IR music always potrayed the soft corner of Rajini.
  Beautiful songs like 'Chittuku chella Chittuku'
  and 'Amma Endru Azhaikatha'
  But I can recollect any super duper dance no by IR for rajini expect for the song in Murattu Kalai 'Pothuvaga' may be somebody explain further as why IR doesnt suite Rajini or what went wrong in their combination.
  My guess is after the public feud they had they parted their ways

  Right now, yes. for the padayappa-type movies that keep comint out regularly from the Rajni camp Deva is perhaps the best suited. He has got the 'pulse' of the rajni audience:-)
  
  the succesful formula is one autokaaran-rickshawkaaran-paalkaaran song, one or two pseudo-carnatic compositiona, one soga thathuva paadal and thats it a deva album for a rajni movie is ready to go.

  A cheap actor like rajini deserves only a cheap MD like DEVa. I dont refuse that they fit each other very well. Let this teamwork continue.
