Is Harris is good option for Rajani's New Film Chandramukhi?

I hope you guys will agree with me if i say scoring good music is easy job.

When you look at the past, Great Music director like Rahman failed to give big musical hit to Rajani.

Now for Rajani's new flick ,Chandramukhi,they opted Harris as music director.....

Do you guys think he can score good for Rajani?

my ghut feeling is may be he can produce good music for songs but in backgroud score he can not satisfy rajani's audience.....

  Though i was thinking about Vidya sagar in my mind. I made a mistake saying that Harris jayraj.
  
  Please replace harris by vidya sagar.

  VS is OK only with one or two melodies as his recent films say:
  
  Kanden Kanden (Madurae)
  Kavithai Iravu (Sullan)
  Azhagooril (Tirumalai)
  
  Am surprised that this man was chosen.. P,Vasu, Sivaji Productions, still no Ilayaraaaja. Am disappointed. I think Rajini fans have heard the last Ilayaraja song for a Rajini movie (Veera 1994)

  no wonder vidya saagar was chosen ... he has given more hits than any contemporary (don't include IR as IR has started offering his music to movies he likes than accepting offers from directors who like is music ... but don't miss to include ARR)

  I feel that VS would be good...
  
  As long as he doesnt use Udit Narayannan for all songs.
  
  It will good if he uuses SPB, KJY or even karthik for that matter

  VS is the only choice i can see for rajini's movies...rajini's movies live and die by himself only...he does not need a alaipauthey sort of elite music......IR is too good a musician for giving music to rajini's movies.......ARR never gets any scope in rajini's movies, so it would be highly unfair to rope in this guy too......

  Practically I don't care about that as long as the
  music / songs is good to hear. By the way Rajini is not a superstar as all his movies is nothing but masala.Some of his movies hit the box office
  because of the story but not for his acting.

  Vidya sagar is the one and only choice to rajini films at this moment. He tunes what the movie really needs. Margin of error has come down for this guy in the recent times. The great thing about him is, movie-maker friendliness.
  
  ARR : It has been a nightmare for this guy to do music for Rajini movies. Bringing a lively music to rajini movies is a tough job for people who worships keyboards. Especially BGMs were utter flops. No one can deny that.
  
  
  YSR: Previous points applicable to this guy too. But YSR is capable to do some magic in BGMs.
  
  IR : Even though Rajini knows that Raaja can create wonders for him, he badly needs vairamuthu. He has forgotten all his past(At least Veera)
  
  Deva: Rajini needs some creative music to lift his image.Not just some crap chantings(Baasha) and villupattus(Arunachalam, "Singam ondru")
  
  Bharadwaj: Considering his success, he too equally capable to vidyasagar.But not in all aspects. Especially orchestration.

  god father,,have u forgot the padaiyappa BGM????well i thought it wud have fit into any maniratnam movie....such was the quality.......enna perusa YSR BGM kudukkuraru???? i did not see any BGM in aitheree,winner,dheena and many other movies of his....just dunt post any crap........IR with rajini combo-uzhaipali lost badly to an unknown combo of arjun and ARR in 1993....have you forgotten it????

  VS is the ONLY Md after IR to do justice to Melody, no doubt, but in terms of BGM, no body to beat IR in this arena, BUT ARR did a wonderful BGM in Baba, those mantar chanting is still in my head!, ARR proved his BGM ability in Baba, Padaiyappa And to certain extent in Muthu as well.
  
  well, at least VS used his brains to give couple of Songs to the musical tycoon SPB, Rajni + SPB combo has always topped the charts, from Rajni's career till now, ARR's biggest mistake of not Giving all songs SPB in baba, proved to be a major disaster, this Karthick guy, Rajni looked bad, when Karthick lend his voice, Karthick is good for baby heros, not for the ultimate star!

  Maddy, Uzhippali lost to Gentleman becaz' of its junk story. Not becaz of rajini & ilaiyaraja.
  
  If u really have a good sense of music, just recollect the songs of uzhaipali and try to understand its quality.
  
  1. Oru kola kili - SPB solo (What an amazing and rich tune)
  2. Oru kola kili II - Again SPB (Meet of rajini and roja) - A true example for ecstacy with interlude changes
  3. Amma amma - SPB solo (Still many people loves this song and plays during rememberence of their mother)
  4. Oru mina mina & Uzhipali - Mano's good numbers
  
  Coming to Padiappa's BGM, still I remember the noicy clainet sound (Tune of "vetri kodi kattu") when Rajini meets Ramya in her home. Also the same piece has been used throughout the movie to lift rajini's image. The music arrangements were very poor. Totally unfit to the movie!!! Probably the female chorus with miruthangam helped a little to save few meeting scenes.
  
  Let'z come to "muthu". During that period(1996),ARR was bit influenced with Baasha's re-recording. especially, the finger raising "usssh" sound. He used a same kind of sound whenever rajini stares/waves/fights. A boring repeated stuff. Also unmatched male chorus during chasing and stunts. What maddy ? don't u feel it is ...(saying in tamil) "Kurivi thalaiyila panampalam" :)
  
  Even though YSR don't deliver songs of ARR's(1992-2000) quality, he has got admiring BGM capabilities. I give u few sample. "Poovellam kettupar","Unakkaga ellam unakkaga(Love scenes)", "Nanda","Mounam pesiyathey", "April maathathil" plus all latest movies which I don't need to mention.
  
  With all these movies, I was totally mesmerised during my movie-watch which I never got with ARR.
