malay influence in dhool songs-vidyasagar

if anyone heard this song inthadi kapakilange-the intro's lyric is a maly word.. it goes like this.. joget joget oh gelek sini golek sana joget joget,.. .if anyone listen to the assai asaai song in this film . it also has malay music influence. the chorus part tune is a pure malay tune..what u guys think about all this stuff?

  yeah, i've heard those. but i kinda think the song "assai assai" doesn't have any malay music influence in it. the chorus really doesn't ring a bell on any malay songs or tunes i've heard. any specific title? yeah, the "inthadi kapakilange" has the malay phrases in the intro but that's the end of it. i can't find any influences either. however, i really think it would be interesting if any composers try to include more "world" influences into their songs, BUT not by copying them. Have to admit that there are numerous 'lifted' compositions in some songs. You should go to this website to check some of those "influenced indian music". Some songs which at first amazed me with their intensity and creativity turned out to be copied. what a disappointment!
