  shankar HJ is not alogical successor to ARR.He has not taken up significant market %. Too early to say. I wud wait another 2 years. I wud still stay with ARR, KR and YSR( IR occasionally).

  HJ is VERY promising. But that's all. Majunu nor 12b really don't sound too different. Itz all ARR style muzik. But, his Vaseegara and minnale album was GREAT!! So far in tamil cinema for the year 2001 .. HJ is the MD of the YEAR. But we still have a few monthz left. And ARR is releasing all his stuff, like parthale parvasam, udhaya and alli arjuna and so on.
  
  So we'll c. and YSR and KR are still 'round and they seem to give some decent stuff as well. So, we'll c wot happenz.

  I think most people are talking about not listening to ARR's songs anymore, and HJ dominating the charts simply bcos ARR has not done any songs in recent times, except Star. When all his new releases hit the stores soon, it'll be evident tat he still rules.

  Raja took over from MSV because he succeeded in producing a very different style.
  
  ARR took over from Raja for the same reasons.
  
  HJ sounds just like ARR, therefore, he cannot and will not take over from ARR.
  
  The only one among the youngsters who sounds different from ARR is KR, even he is not consistent.
  
  So ARR is safe for now.

  HJ did not do such a good job in 12B as well as majnu.......I don't think he will stand for long.
