Query on a old movie

Anyone here seen an old Karthik movie called "Marupatta Konangal" with music by Shanker-Ganesh? I like to know the movie is. Any good? Is it worth watching?

  I recently saw a Shakespere play in Dallas.
  "Two gentleman from Veronica".. it was defly funny and it heavily reminded me of a Tamil movie.. I am sure they have copied the story in some tamil movie (without credits to Shakespere, ofcourse!) but I cant recollect which one.

  Genius, I remember only Shakespeare's Taming of the shrew being adapted as Arivali-Sivaji, Bhanumathi.
