MALARNDHUM MALARAADHAVAI

IN THE EARLIER DAYS, IN SRI LANKA RADIO, THERE WAS A SONG PROGRAMME TITLED ABOVE WHEREIN THEY USED TO BROADCAST THE SONGS WHICH WERE NOT THERE IN THE FILM :

FOR EXAMPLE :

1) THENDRAL VARUM...SETHI VARUM... - PS - IN
PAALUM PAZHAMUM - THE SONG IS NOT THERE IN
THE FILM
2) ENNAI-TH-THOTTU SENDRANA KAIGAL - PBS & PS -
IN PAAR MALAGE PAAR - THE SONG IS NOT THER IN
THE FILM
3) MALARGALE...NADASWARANGAL.. MVASUDEVAN &
SJ - IN KIZHAKKE POGHUM RAYIL

CAN WE LIST ALL SUCH SONGS?

  I think Manam Virumbuthey (male version-Unni Krishnan) from Nerukku Ner did not have any picturisation and was used during the credits.

  In many IR films some songs will be having two versions (e-g, aennai thaalatta varuvaaLo by Hariharan and IR). It seems one of the versions (in the example IR's version) was used in track singing that finds place in audio cassette but not in film. Such songs might not be intended(by the dir/producers to be picturised. Do we have to include these songs? If so then in addition to the example, we can also include idhayam oru kovil adhil udhayam oru paadal(IR version) FROM idhaya kovil.

  the muththuraaman-vijayakumaari song is :
  'madhuraam nagaril thamilz-ch-changam'.
  
  first i saw the film in theatre in late 70s and
  i saw it again on doordharshan in 85.
  
  ,ennai-th-thottu' song was not there.

  Most of Baradwaj's movies has some extra songs. Some of them really good and not used.
  
  Eg:
  1)Nadhyil Sayum Naanal polae..Ithayam saayum un madi maelae (A fast modified version of Itharku per than kathala)- Beatufiul song by Reshmi - Pooveli
  
  2)Alaghe Alaghe Neeyaradi - Tippu - Roja kootam
  
  3)SPB version of Maname Maname - Roja Kootam
  
  4) Don remember a song in Amarkalam too.
  
  5) Some songs in Gemini(well da album is crap anyway)!

  Nagarajan, I agree with you that muththuraaman-vijayakumaari acted for the song 'madhuraa nagaril thamilz-ch-changam'. But this song "ennai thottu" also by the same pair. It starts after the college Lab scene where in this pair exchange some sweet pleasantaries. FYI, I saw this movie long back in "Childern theatre" (now its being called as KalaivaaNar arangam) Opposite to paragan theatre. I am sure about this song and actors.
