  Most of the popular lady singers make around Rs.10,000 per tamil song. New lady singers make around Rs.5,000 per song. New male singers make 10,000/song too. Shankar Mahadevan, Karthik make upto Rs.20,000/song. SPB, Hariharan makes between Rs.25,000 to Rs.50,000 based on the length of the song.

  According to realiable sources, most of the bombay singers get 25k and south indian male singers get 15k for solo and 10k for duets, except unni krishnan who's getting 25k. If they

  I was just surfing on the net and found your page and in this regard I just need some information on the prices that the singers are charging i.e., I want to know the charges for a single stage show.
  
  I'am interested & planning for a stage show in Bangalore with the artists such as Anuradha Sriram, Srinivas and Karthik. I will also be greatful to you if I know the rates for Hariharan and S.P.B.

  I dont think newtfmpage would help you on that... people dont talk anything serious about this topic.. (just see the reply from hhhwm :).. Besides, the rates that people are talking about here is for playback singing and not for stage shows.
  
  I would advice you to consult with some organisation that has already performed a star show.. or get hold of some one in the cine field to get first hand information.. If you directly approach them, romba begu pannippanga!

  Hi Dina,
  go to ilaiyaraaja yahoogroups and post your question. There are some orchestra artists there who have staged shows, they can tell the exact price.
