  tippu ..another kid in the block who thinks ...singing in good tamil is not a turn on anymore...all these singers must be hanged..or rather lock them in the room and ask them to hear thoer own song ...

  He sings anglicised tamil but deliberately done .he also over shouts like shouter mahadevan , shankar mahadevan i mean.

  Pathetic, he continues with his warbling despite stellar talents like Balram, Madhu Balakrishnan, SPB Charan, Yugendran, etc. languishing. As long as IR and ARR recognise true talent outside their current 'favourites' circle of singers, we need to suffer such pseudo-hip accents.
  
  Heck, just imagine if talented singers were not discriminated on account of being identifies with 'camps', we would not have suffered the likes of Mano, Arunmozhi, Tippu, Devan, Bhava, etc. (not to mention the HINDI imports) who IMO got to sing far too many songs for their limited calibre and non-originality

  hey guys..i once caught tippu on sapthaswarangal where he was a judge and guess what, he speaks excellent tamil and sang a carnatic song really really well. i don't understand why he sings this way in movies when he is capable of so much more.

  Tippu has sung the song Pudhusai Pudhusai from Junior Senior and although the song is a great hit, Tippu's pronunciation makes Srinivas sound equally bad :-(
