  Is it the same way a director feels after he watches his own movie with IR's bgm "naana indha padathai direct pannadhu?"... Thanks to both Vel and Nagas for the review & translation...
  
  Ironically, Arumbu padhippagam is like a 20 minute walk from my house... I would love to have the book now, but naan USla irukkane :-(.

  Wow,
  It's rare to see such professional attitude in Tamil film industry!
  Only recently had director Cheran heavily criticized Thankar Bachan on the 'commercial' compromises he had made in Azhagi, in an open letter in some magazine like Kumudam.
  And now Thankar is making the director act in a lead role in his very next film!
  Kudos!
  Great team! and we can definitely expect an exceptional score from IR this time too!

  It was about the movie, 'Solla MaRantha Kathai' by Thangar Bachaan *ing Director Cheran in the lead role. The movie has raised a lot of expectations after the earlier successful venture of IR-Thankar Bachaan team. Panchu Arunachalam is the producer (after a long hiatus)

  BTW, after a long gap, these magazines and news papers give importance to IR in their news items, for example they say 'Ilayaraja isaiyil thangar iyakkum padam' instead of 'padam xyz, music : ilayaraja' ! Very happy to see this !
  
  How many 'active' movies IR is working on ? Veelaa, Solla maRantha kathai, Vijaykanth Movie and then ? What happened to Kamarajar movie ? IR is the MD for Gnana. Rajashekharan's movie on Nethaji Subash ?

[otherwise, u may want to know SPM is in Msia] I spose if going by the same train of thought some website called vengayaulagam posted a silly article tat IR turned down Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park IV, I spose his fans here wud have a ball, start a thread "IR turns down Jurassic Park" wit a gleeful, smug delight, lapping it up without question. And then someone wud be forgiven for stating the reason IR turned down Steven Spielberg is bcos he's too busy doing movies for Ramarajan, Vijayakanth and Parthiban. I know tis is an exaggeration. But the caricature is purely intended to illustrate the irony in SPM's post.
  Wat's even more delirious is tat u guys r more pissed off wit my post (which was simply stretching the idea developed by Mani) then with him for making such a statement.
  Oh wait, someone even praised him for his great attitude.

  WhyNot, I absolutely agree with you here. In fact I also agree with what the morons in Gujarat did. When extremists torched a train, did they attack the extremists??   WhyNot - this thread is called "IR New albums".... i don't think SPM *degraded* anyone when he said "IR is busy, so he does'nt want to do BABA, Popcorn"..... did he ? man, everyone here knows that SPM worships IR music..... so why pick up on him ???? did he say anything bad about other MD's now ? nopes ? so why do u bother ? and that too in a thread which says "IR New Albums".....
  
  i think i posted this sometime back in someother thread "if someone says bad about my favourite MD, then i will defend my MD..... if its something about a MD, whoiam not bothered much about, then iam not going to be involved in that discussion"..... hope u get it.... as far as about ur posts about Ambleen - well, my advise "IGNORE".... there are certain things that needs attention to be drawn - this one is not.....
