MR dumps ARR ???

As per latest Kumudam, ManiRatnam's next movie MD is Dhina - tv serial MD who had become voernight famous due to
title songs of 'Chiththi' and 'Chinna paappa periya pappa'

Since MR wants VM as lyricist, and therefore looks like ARR is getting the chuck-out.

Dhina says, he will put in his best effort as Mani has worked with stalwarts like IR and ARR and therefore expectations will be high for a MR film

  If this news is true (aaraamthinai reports otherwise):
  
  MR & ARR both are shrewd businessmen and neither will get affected by this change, IMO! In fact, ARR's successes and fortune no longer depends on MR anymore (vice versa is true too 'cause MR had greater successes with IR as MD as well...)
  
  New experiments might bring more forces in the market place and interesting management case studies...but can't say whether it will do good or bad to MUSIC!
  
  One thing for sure, this Dhina guy will get the best probable market promotions that one can dream of:-)

  Yes. I read the news in Kumudam - Lights-ON where this guy Dina has talked about this. There was no confirmation from MR side regarding this (yet)

  I think it is important to know (if the information is true) whether it is Mani's next production movie or directed movie. In fact, even his own Aasai (Deva) and Dum Dum Dum (Karthik Raja) had MDs other than ARR. Personally I think MR's next movie as a Director will certainly have ARR scoring the music. As for VM, remember.....KM also had VM!!!!

  Maniratnam's next movie is Amirkhan's production.I am sure it will have arr as MD.If AK is not the producer, he is atleast the hero.I read this in some film website couple of days back.

  I think VM will definitely be in it. Its ARR & VM combination that make the songs very successful. ARR's recent flops clearly indicate this.

  MR is not a fool to dump ARR. remember uyire???? our maan took a hell of a time composing that. there were rumours at that time too that ARR is sure to get dumped after this movie. Dhina may get a break, but i'm sure that is not with MR as a Director.if that happens, i wud rate MR as the biggest fool on earth.
