ARR's Interview in Sun TV last nite (07/Dec/2003)

HI guys...did any of u guys watched the first part of ARR's interview with Pepsi Uma last nite on Sun TV it was aired at 12.30 Singapore time...should be 9.30 India time.

He talks abt composers here, the improvement in Technology, WOHE and his life...and the first part ends with Pepsi Uma asked abt making NonTamil singers to sing Tamil song.

Second part will be aired next week.

  LLD....not really sure whether they showed this for deepavali or not...coz i didn't watch the deepavali version...
  normally if it's deepavali version..they woudl start with "deepavali vazhtukkal"..rite

  Yeah,I also saw glimpses of the interview. I always felt that our tamil channels doesn't do any justice to those interviews with big stars like ARR, IR, Kamalhaasan. I've seen many of those interviews being wasted by some unimaginative questions and wasting the time by just praising the celebrity being interviewed rather than coming up with some good technical questions on their fields. A clear case of not doing proper homework before interviewing such celebrities.
  Maybe, they need people from newtfmpage to do the interview for them. I'm sure some of the TFM DF-ers would do much better.

  Maverick..yea i really agreewith u..that those interviewers don't do their homework properly..
  for example yesterday...Pepsi Uma said
  "u have been in this business since 1990, after 13 years in field what u feel"..i was like "HUH!"..
  
  isn't it suppose to be from 1992 and this is his 11th year!

  NOM to Pepsi Uma...But having someone like her interviewing a musical genius itself is a big blunder. Why cant these channels have some Subject Matter Experts doing the intvws ? I didnt really see any questions that could have got any new information. It was the same old stuff that you have already read in mags and websites.

  and when ARR said the improvement in Music field like going from Mono to Dolby, DTS and stuff....
  Uma went like "what is Mono?"..

  When Uma was asking ARR about WoHE, she asked him about how he got this offer initally and how tough did he find working in an alien language like Chinese and other stuff. Til then, it went okay. And later, she asks him about the feedback of the movie after it is released in China ...now how can you ask that sort of obvious questions to the MD itself ? Everybody knows the kind of answers you'd get for those kinda Qs.
  
  I hope the Qs in the cominp episodes are more focussed on the future trends of music that he'd like to focus on, the shift in the musical paradigm that he has (or wants to )brought about in recent times

  how new is it?as Rahman has been here in Malaysia since 1 dec un till 21 dec,the best part is,all malaysian rahman fans gonna meet Rahman in person..not the concert,IN PERSON!!!im in there too,will get my 'interview' and be right back!!!
