Ilaiyaraja and Talvin Singh

I stumbled upon this when I was reading up about Talvin singh's debut album "OK", in his credits he acknowleges ILAIYARAJA,However there was no mention of him name on the actual Cd, does anyone out there know what contribution Ilayaraja had made to the album...

  This must be similar to Tavlin's earlier album, 'Sounds of the Asian Underground', which apart from including some of his 'compositions' or 'remixes' also included the complete theme music of the film Bombay by ARR. He must have aquired the 'right' to that score from the music label.
  
  I have yet to listen to OK. I am not sure if it has any new collaborative piece with IR or merely has an old composition of his Copy-pasted in one of the tracks. Tavlin, apart from playing the tabla, drums, percussion, and some gibberish 'voices', also adds noises and scratches to existing songs or alaaps by singers and calls them his own!

  Methinks SONI sounds like an IR piece. So does Eclipse, with Sultan Khan on SArangi and Shankar Mahadevan on vocals...
  BTW, why call the piece with Gayatri Mantra as 'eclipse'?? Beats me!!
