  Actually,
  TR did shave his beard. But the wedding was called off coz they spent the whole day searching for him! The poor guy was standing right there w/o a clue as to what was causing the hold-up. :)
  
  And when his beard did grow back, they rearranged the whole ceremony. But Simbhu wanted to do some "style peela" and ended up w/ the thaali tied to his own wrist.
