guys, got to hear him in a programme on Jaya tv. tremendous singing, good looking, good carnatic rendering too. of course, his judgement about the male singer in the show was wrong according to me. Madhu's main problem-sounds so much like Yesudas.

  I agree with you on that madhu is a good singer and has good carnatic rendering.He sounds much like KJY in the middle and high octaves..but at the base, KJY is unparallelled. People will accept KJY's voice from KJY only. That's why none of the singers sounded a bit like KJY weren't able to make it big in Malalayalm.Madhu tries to follow Yesudas in every aspect of singing. This will help him getting accolades in Orchestra perfomance, but not in playback singigng, where Originality is demanded. I think Madhu should develop alapana style of his own though he can't change his voice.
  
  M.G Sreekumar has got a flexible voice different from KJY, so he is the second best singer in Malayalam.
