Jency's Interview

Jency has given an interview in this week's kumudam reporter entitled "Enge Ponaar Jency"? Is this not the same question all were asking? She expresses her willingness to sing in IR's (others) music. Will IR hear to this? Hopefully!!

  bb, thats a fairly common attitude, especially in Kerala, where Government Jobs are held as a prize catch-- even Gulf Jobs rate only second!
  
  Btw, I got the issue only yesterday, and saw Jency's face for the first time ever, though I was listening to her songs even as a child!

  She could have continued singing. Anyway there is no work at Govt offices. Half of them are on strike, so she doesn't even have to go to work.

  Personally I am not a big fan of Jency. Her voice is very unique and crystal but I feel she signs thro her nose. Listen to 'iru paravaigal' song from niram maaratha pookkal and 'idhayam pogudhey' from pudhiya vaarpugal. He emphasizes too much on 'rra' and 'ha', a typical malayalee accent.

  I think that accent made her songs enjoyable, IMO. Like Saravanan said, I saw her face for the first time. Good to hear that she wants to get back to singing.

  jency has sung so many beautiful songs. My favourites were: iru paravaigal, idhayam pogudhe, mayile mayile, aayiram malargale, enn vaanile and so on. But the best is kaadhal oviyam paadum kaaviyam... This is my all time favourite.

  can someone send me singer jency's picture, as i go through the websites i couldn't see jency's picture. I never seen her before. I'm not that good in read tamil, i spell spell.. all the words but still cannot look for her or her titles.

  Jency should be given chances again, her pronounciation was not that good, but her voice is heavenly, hope she again gets her share in IR's music.
