TAMIL DVD's

There are so many Tamil DVD's available in the market. Picture quality achieved to acceptable range.
But audio which has compress into dvd is not achieved to standard level. Because tamil dvd manufacturers not really processing the music through 96khz.
The result is output of the music is worse than normal CD standard.
Top of the label they mark as 5.1 DIGITAL SOURROUND SOUND..
Does manufacturers really know what is digital sound is, or they are concerning only in quantity of the production????

  I am not in a position to comment on the quality of the Tamil DVD's. I haven't had the confidence to purchase a 5.1 marked Tamil DVD for the sole reason that the resellers themselves are at a loss when you pose questions to them. I have an extensive collection of English DVD's which are of very high quality. I would like some input from those who have some experience with these DVD's. Picture reproduction ? Sound quality ? Also, anyone would be kind enough to provide some info on online Tamil DVD retailers who ship worldwide ? Thanks You and Best Regards.

  I agree with Sivam that all tamil DVDs are not of good quality. of late, I have tried Tamil DVDs produced by Ayngaran International. They are of exceptional quality with 5.1 Dolby Digital.   Dvds produced by Pyramid is really not up to mark...video is like a watching a video tape whereas the audio is worse than a cd....I tried padaiyappa & rhythm from their label....
