hey guys
i was so kicked after reading all your responses to balu mahendru movies and generally all these tamil movies...though admittedly i havent see almost 80% of all the movies that have been reviewed.
but of whatever i have seen and read, may i also post a few comments ( though these comments are on songs/films already reviewd by you all)
i thought that the song in avatharam (thendral vandu) is totally mindblowing and i dont think anyone apart from ilaiyaraja couldve sung that song.... (im assuming im rite that it is ilaiyaraja) and the comments on the sathya - bus song picturisation.....i agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY.
hey one question...ive seen a few balachander movies and ive seen duet. do you guys agree that DUET was a TOTAL letdown.
you guys have noooo idea how kicked i am about this reviewing thing.... but just to be sure could anyone of you mail me at g_siddharth@yahoo.com and let me know that its ok.
btw....are any of you guys on napster. ive a feeling that you guys have a fantastic collection of tamil MP3 songs.

i love the picturisation of the song "april mayiley pasumaye illey" from Ithayam....
That starting trumphet very much matches with the cycle "oorvalam" of prabhudeva and his friends..
The dance sequences are really very different at that time..which made a huge impact on youngsters..
The next song is "kodiyiley malliyapoo" from kadalora kavithaigal ...wow...rekha will walk with an umbrella in a steep road and sathyaraj leans over the hill down the same road at the start of the song..I dont remember it is first interlude or second one ..but both of them will be walking along the sea shore playing...the music at that time and the evening sunlight makes a lot of disturbance in the heart..nice location..muttam ..

What does the West really think of Indian (Tamil) films?
By reporting this Swiss location shoot, the writer has plain ridiculed the crew and the lead actor, making fun of the inches of makeup and his costume. And the facts given in this BBC article are confusing as well..
He talks about a hero called Barna Aji!!! Who the hell is he?
'The lead actor, Barna Aji, is currently on his second film.
And that the Tamil film is a remake of a Hindi film called 'Love AND Marriage'!!! There's no such film!
The best part is the last line...
"So if the Tamil version of Love and Marriage succeeds when its released later this year, does this mean Aji could become the Tamil version of Brad Pitt?
The make up cracks as Aji scre ws up his forehead in puzzlement. "Brad Pitt?" he asks. " Is he a pop star?"
I am curious to know, who is this Aji????
