You might not have been listened to this song yet. It is sung by Mathangi under Sabesh-Murali for the movie 'Ayiram Poi solli'. Just because they are Deva's bros doesnt mean they cant give good music. Just listen to this song and tell if you dont feel atleast close to Vaseegara typical mood.

  infact some tint of pudhu vellai mazai also present.

  then in saranam clearly akarai seemai, later the saram bridges to "pudhu vellai mazai", then vaseegra,

  Std deva portion is 100% copy!...
  this time it is 90%

  also this movie is called 1000 poi solli...fits aptly.

  the first few notes in the second interlude have also been flicked from the middle of the 1st flute interlude of "putham pudhu kaalai". Looks like they have desperately tried to make it feel/sound like vaseegara :-)
  But better its this way than tuning more songs like Oh Podu. Atleast they are choosing the right songs to get inspired.
  
  Mathangi sounds much more pleasant in this song singing in the lower octaves than in "appadi paakrathunna" from Ivan

  Yes eventhough it reminds of Vasgeera song.

  Has anyone heard "thiru thiruda" from Star... music by anuradha and sriram? Adhum sounds a lot like vaseegara and lotsa other famiiar tunes. But over-all aa the song is nice. Srinivas and Sujata ve done a nice job.
